Freddie Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Found this on Klocki today. It's built by Ingmar Spijkhoven, and, well, it's just staggeringly, mind-bogglingly, awesomely awesome. Rubber-axle-joiner suspension, ackerman-steering, motorised with remote control, etc. Just take a look for yourselves: And it's got a trailer of equal quality to go with it: (Pictures are way to big to be posted in here, but the pics are linked to the galleries, big pics can be found there) Quote
Flatfoot Thompsen Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 wow, that is fascinating and great quality! way to go Ingmar! Quote
Spyder Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Not my type of thing, but very fascinating and a great job, Ingmar. Quote
CP5670 Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 That looks beautiful, and it has the functionality to match as well. It's especially interesting how he used u-joints in the middle to move the steering geartrain up, instead of gears. All the chrome silver pieces give it a great finish too. The only thing is that the front would have been better with an actual windshield. The thin bars used at an angle like that look pretty flimsy. Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I didn't think it was Lego until I looked at the bigger pictures... Quote
Front Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 It got fantastic looks. He over-did the exhaust pipes though, they are way too long, guess he had too many chrome technic extenders. Quote
thire5 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Awesome! There are so many details, it's perfect. Quote
