12!! :oh3:

Wow i cant wait to see that picture. I had thought of buying multiples and then switching colors but because this is the first castle set I got in a while, (thats what i get for growing up with KK), my village is now bigger than any castle I can build. This is arguably the greatest castle set ever and easily the best set of the Fantasy Era. Thank you for the detailed and informative review.

Incredible! What a fantastic set. I would love to get one myself, but it's just too pricey in the country I live.

Great review.

p.s. I really love the cows, so cute and real.

ISC, your review just made me order this set. I am more of an army builder collector, but this is a must have set for any castle fan. Absolutely looking forward to build it next week!

Thanks, though it may be pricey in your country, if you ever get it, you wont be dissapointed!

Hahaha, after that review they should send you something. My MMV should arrive tomorrow-I really cant wait to get it. Im planning this huge castle project and MMV will be a great addition to it.

Commodore Hornbricker, you bought 12 of these sets? Wow mate, mad props for you. Do you own any other castle sets in multiple numbers as well?

I adore this set. The minifig, animal and parts selection is superb and it looks like such fun to build. I haven't bought it yet but am planning to rectify that very, very soon

By the time I could afford this set, it will probably be discontinued. Well I could afford it now, but spending 100USD on a single set? I don't even have the room to display it. And I would probably just tear it apart for MOCs. But that is a lot of pieces. If I bought it for the bricks alone, it would probably be worth the price.

I bought two of these (they were on sale locally) and am not dissapointed. Lots of civilian figs, cows, rare colours, good design, good price per part, you could hardly expect better than this. Compared to the City farm set (which is around the sme price here in Oz) this is a way better set.

I'm not a castle fan, but these sets will make a great medieval centre to my town/train layout.

does anyone know where i can get this set in australia? i hear target is the only place?

It is a great set to be sure.

Joey it is only available at Target in Australia, as they ordered it in exclusively. I would try there, eBay or Lego S@H.

I got mine from the Bricklink store Maxspace in Australia. It was a good price for me, going from yen to Australian dollars, but I don't know how it'd compare to Target's prices.

To the guy who has 12 of these. You must have a ton of disposable income. Or no other hobbies you spend money on. I hope one day I can afford to spend that kind of money on Lego.

I think I will go pick this up at TRU if they don't have Castle's Siege/Troll Mountain Fortress.

They have it at TRU?

Are the bags numbered by any chance?

The TRU website has it listed. I am not sure if I saw it when I was last there. And amazon.com has it as well. I live in the U.S. if it matters. I was surprised too. Seeing how it says its exclusive on the lego website.

Good afternoon!

This set is outstanding! My wife bought it a month or so ago and it has so many details with all the minifigs, the animals and the architecture that it convinced me to open my narrowed StarWars and technic-mind to other themes. Afterwards we ordered 10190, 10182 and 10185. All thanks to this magnificent set! (I am sure my bank account hates it now... :classic: )

I bought this set about a month ago and I love it! :cry_happy:

My girlfriend loved this set as soon as we saw it at S@H, so no objections as to me buying it

The village is outstanding, no doubt about it, but it would be even beter if TLC added a well, you know the ones with a little slate roof

anyway, you can always built one yourself

Great pictures and very entertaining review ISC! :classic:

I wished I got into Lego earlier in the year because I would have bought it on sight. I could not find this set in any store and it was on my MUST-HAVE list. Fortunately I managed to get it off ebay (a bit more costly...but I think once all the pirate sets are discontinued this year, the price might go even higher). I absolutely love this set!

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed the review and purchased one of the coolest sets in the last few years! Build it as fast as you can darkmoonlady.

I'm up at one in the morning listening to Eddie Izzard on Netflix, with sweaty palms holding the box trying to tell myself I should hold out till Xmas...I'll never make it...hehe
