March 22, 200915 yr Wow, those are good my figures aren't quite working out. I'm trying to make Magrat and I'm just not happy with the end result. Where did you get the red wizard hat?
March 22, 200915 yr Aww, the Luggage is super-cute! I don't think Rincewind should have that long beard though, he's relatively young for a wizard to my recollection... And in the comic versions of the books, he has red beard and hair. Anyway, I'm envious of the red wizard's hat, as well.
March 22, 200915 yr Hmm, yes, Rincewind has a straggly beard (and moans he can't get a proper beard) but lego don't make them, plus figures with stubble are all angry/confident/happy not Rincwind's perpetual worry.

March 24, 200915 yr Author Thanks for the kind replies. Unfortunately Lego doesn't do short beards. I tend to make the figures as pictured on the covers of the English paperbacks, mainly made by Josh Kirby. On those Rincewind is shown as an older wiz(z)ard. In most of the comics he is younger, so there is a choise for everyone. Looking forward to seeing your creations. Up next is the Patrician and I'm working on the beggars guild
March 24, 200915 yr I don't think he is young per se, just temporaly franged (what with the dungeon dimensions, hell, ancient Tsort the beginning and end of the universe...) in fact Death keeps Rincwinds lifetimer on his desk as a curio.
March 24, 200915 yr Looks great, although I would omit the beard piece - the scraggly printed beard on that head probably sufficiently reflects the description in the books! I'd love to have one of those red wizzard hats though!
