As Quoted from BZP:

Toys "R" Us is currently having a promotion on all things LEGO. With every purchase of $30 or more, you will receive a free 221 piece tub of LEGO Bricks. No word on when this will end though

Discuss! I must head out ASAP.

Does this really deserve its own topic? :sceptic:

For those who want to know, this is the tub that you get:

Not very exciting IMO. But hey, it's still free Lego! :classic:

The offer is valid for the US. Don't know about any other countries.

Doesn't look like we're being blessed with this in the UK - I picked up a couple of sets at TRU on Saturday and didn't get anything free.

:-(

Prices were interesting though - the 2 sets I bought (Anakin's starfighter and Hailfire droid) were pretty much at the same price as Lego S@H (and therefore cheaper as no postage to pay), but a couple of the sets, e.g. Indiana Jones Peril in Peru, were subject to a massive mark up - around 30%. I'll never understand these pricing policies. Meanwhile "The Entertainer" in the UK is having a "Big Easter Sale", but only online. This means that their prices are about the same as Lego S@H now (!) with the exception of the AT-TE which at 60 pounds sterling is 8-9 pounds cheaper than Lego S@H. So if you're in the UK and looking for the AT-TE then I suggest you take a look.
