Well i was sick and tired og FBTB and all its Megablok so typed lego in my search engine and up popped EB, i lurked around for awhile then decided to join (how this site has changed since then, in a positive way that is)

For me this place was a breath of fresh air (and still is) and ive never looked back since.

Our great leader DoubleT pm'ed me at FBTB when things were beginning to get bad, he saved me, Apo and Sam that day so long ago.. :')

:'( he didnt save me........i had to suffer alone ;)

I did a Google search for LEGO 2006 and ended up here...liked the fact that the forum was the Invision Board I'm so familiar with and decided to sign up nuts.GIF

I don't remember, it had something to do with a set I was interested in knowing more about.

I lurked for a few monthes and then decided that I wanted to share in the fun. I still think this is the best LEGO website out there. I'll stick around until Jipay or TT's children* take over and change it to EuroMegaBloks. *sick*

*future children

Wel I created the place. I ended up creating it cause I wa

i was looking for a good lego site and i found this place i couldnt imagine anything better :') :P

I can't remember how I got here.

Maybe someone emailled me. I dunno.

But it is nice to have somewhere to talk leaked business.

Some day I decided to look up a few LEGO forums to maybe join one or the other. Don't really remember, but on either LUGNET oder LEGOFan.org (or wherever) I found a link to EB. And now I'm stuck here...

What a wonderful day.... :')

Did a search on google for AFOL page and wound up checking this one out. Fortunately it was the number one page I'd hit that day and I've never regretted it - it may be that You have ;)

Saw a link on Lugnet.

God Bless,

i was looking for new information about sets, i think. there was this rumour about viking sets, so i went to check on brickset, and i think they had a link to eb about viking news. There i saw the prototype sets. i don't know any more how long i "lurked" before becoming a member...

i also remember being very happy with the European element of the website; i'm certain that was an important thing when i decided to become a member.

I did a Google Image search for "lego city 2006" and up came the helicopter and prisoner transport truck we have today. Clicking it took me to the EB homepage. From then on, I visited daily and finally after 6 months of lurking around the forums, I finally decided to join. :)

I saw a link from CC in someone's post. After a few months of lurking, I joined.

BZPower had linked in some news from Eurobricks. I stayed and looked around, and have never looked back. Friendliest site, no one takes themselves too seriously, and it makes a huge difference that he owners/webmasters (whatever you all want to call yourselves) are fans and very active posters as well, return PMs, etc. It's real community. Go EB.

By the way, city for city, there are more fans from Toronto, Canada active here than from any other city in the world, I think. Perhaps we should rename it EuroCanadaBricks.

Yeah, we already thought about that :-D But still, we kept the name European, otherwise i'd have been moaning again because europeans do not have a place to discuss Lego products ;)

Besides, the name may be referring to the actual bricks, which are made in Europe, and not the people who talk about them and the location of those people.

Memory.
