Clone comander Nodra 999 Posted November 16, 2005 Author Posted November 16, 2005 look right here http://www.rebelscum.com/story/lego/LEGO_U...logue_95726.asp the at-te is coming back in 2006 but with ou the episode 3 clones "sigh". Quote
Vader Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Hmmm thats a shame but then im not surprised still it gives fans a chance to grab an at-te if they missed it the first time around Quote
Beagle Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Hmmm thats a shame but then im not surprised still it gives fans a chance to grab an at-te if they missed it the first time around D'oh! Wish I'd known they were gonna do that before I spent a bundle for it on Bricklink a while back. Ah well, it's definitely good for folks who didn't pick it up the first time around. Must just be back stock, though.... unless they're reviving old grey just to re-issue that set. Quote
jonfett Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I agree with Beagle that there must be a large stock of the old ATTE found in some warehouse. As the Naboo fighter SE is also on the page I guess they just added some sets to fill up the spaces and to cover every episode (as you can see at the bottom the SW timeline). Jon. Quote
Clone comander Nodra 999 Posted November 16, 2005 Author Posted November 16, 2005 vader316 Posted on Nov 16 2005, 09:22 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would love to have the clones with blue markings but the problem is that lego will never give us sets with just figs in again as hasbro got all pissy about it last time, of course they could give us clone sets with a vehicle of some sort but that would then push the price up and limit how many sets people could afford. Can u please explain why hasbro wont let lego make all minifig sets and how would making an all clone set drive up the prices? Quote
Vader Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Ok awhile back lego made sets with just SW figs in which was great, but not long after hasbro complained and threated legal action as they have the rights to producing figs based on the films and they considered fig pack to be infringing on theyre license, so lego not wanting to be sued decided it would be best not to do this again. As for prices what i meant is that lego selldom gives us a set with loads of clones that is cheap, i mean the 2 sets with the most clones have both been sets that are over Quote

tophdawg Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 i really want to see a complete playset lego has made some play sets like the final duel jabba's palace, and mos eisley, but they were not that complete. lego shold take a book such as the complete guide to locations and make a full playset featuring everything. Then it should be split up into 3-4 sets that you can buy and put together into a full scene. i would also like a lego rancor Quote
Clone comander Nodra 999 Posted November 17, 2005 Author Posted November 17, 2005 Are the sets that pissed hasbro off the final duel sets or sets like the 3342 witch came with like 2 scout troopers and a chewbaca fig? Quote
Starwars4J Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Are the sets that pissed hasbro off the final duel sets or sets like the 3342 witch came with like 2 scout troopers and a chewbaca fig? The latter Quote
Vader Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Yes lego could make a set like you said SW4j but they dont like making sets like these as they think they lack playability and dont sell as well with children as a set with a vehicle of some sort would. Quote
Legoman Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 well this wouldnt really be that hard to make this set with all this new stuff ok a rebel collection could be a bit bigger than the tie collection mmmmmm 1x a-wing 1x b-wing 1x y-wing 2x x-wing well i like it what do you think :) Quote
Vader Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 This is in fact something that i thought lego would of given us along time ago, now that we have more redesigned ships on there way i think its a safe bet to say that this will likely happen. Quote
babyjawa Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 As a lot of people I want most of the same things. Endor Bunker-2 scouties, 4 stormies, Han, leia, Chewie, 1 ewok. The bunker and 2 speeder bikes. Possibly an AT-ST. At-St- I just want a new one with an At-st driver this time. Utupau- Obi-Wan, Grevious, 2 Magnaguards, 1 Super Battle Droid, and Tion Medon. Those are just the ones I want the most. Quote
xwingyoda Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Just watched ROTS again last night and I have the perfect set: A Padme special beauty set, featuring 15 Padme Mfs with 15 different hairstyles and dresses !!!!! It would also include dying Padme giving birth in a nice space clinic and of course dead Padme on her sarcophagus !!! Yeah I love that :D :P Quote
Cutty Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 xwingyoda! That would be the only SW I would be inclined to buy right now (came to dislike SW over time...). This would ideally cater to the dress-up-doll crowd. Throw in a joint venture with clikits (cardboard rooms for the kids to decorate with SW-ornaments-clikits-style) and your set! Great idea! Quote
xwingyoda Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Tks Cutty hehe ;) Just watched ANH (ep4) and Lucas needs to see it multiple times again !!!! This ep has soooooo much potential !!!! Here are just random ideas: *playset: RBR interior with rebels troops fighting stormies and new droids * small set: Leia interogation: Vader, Leia, Imperial officer and probe droid * small set: R2 capture: landscape, R2 and a jawa * final celebration: new Leia, Luke and Han (luke with his golden jacket !!!) * Jedi training: Obi, Luke with helmet and droid * New (and much better) Cantina set with new aliens and droids Quote
Clone comander Nodra 999 Posted November 20, 2005 Author Posted November 20, 2005 What i realy want to see is a jedi temple raid set with 4 blue clone troopers, 3 jedi nights, Anakin ,some younglings for anakin to kill, and Bail Organa with his nifty red air speeder. Now i know what ur all gonna say, "lego wont make a set depicting Anakin killing a bunch of helples jedi and their kids" but remember the TLC made a set depicting anakin killing a bunch of tusken raiders. We all love it when anakin goes crazy and kills a bunch of people and their kids so we know it would be apropriate for the lego company to make. Quote
Stainboy Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Yeah, but Tusken Raiders don't seem as human as little, unmasked children do. It's okay for LEGO to make sers with stormtroopers and Tuskens getting killed, because they're all the same, they don't really have any individuality. But normal humans? I don't think they'd do it. SPOILER for anyone who hasn't seen or read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Notice how, in the Harry Potter line, the Graveyard Duel set didn't even include a Cedric Diggory minifig? Killing helmeted villains is all right, but not defenseless little kids. Quote
Dino_Bot Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 OK. I compiled a good list. Dash Rendar's OUTRIDER Ebon Hawk E-Wing All the ep 1,2,3 Jedi More Padmes A Green and Blue Jedi Interceptor An AT-AP AT-OT with loads of Clone Troopers (10 if possible) Droid gunship Republic Assault Gunboat SPHA-T would be awesome, but it would be huge. UT-AT would also be huge Geonosian Fanblade Starfighter Geonosian Solar Sailer V-19 Torrent Fighter Techno Union Starfighter with Techno Union pilot (wat tambor lookalike) General Grievous' Starfighter Scimitar Assault Bomber Sith Starfighter (KOTOR) Chamaleon Droids, Crab Droids, Tri- Droids, Homing Spider Droids Kyle Katarn, Dash Rendar. those are the best ones. Hey lots of good clones were lost during that raid :'( .It dosnt have to show Anakin and the clones taking over. It could show the scene when Yoda and Obi wan were trying to break in to the jedi temple and turn off the signal. Quote
xwingyoda Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Or Yoda teaching younglings !!! easy way to bypass the slaughter in order to have those figs ;) Quote
Vader Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Yes i noticed that about the missing Cedric Diggory fig or lack of one, so i doubt we will ever get a set with clones and anakin on ther way to the temple. Of course they could just give us a set with a temple and have some clones stationed there before the order was given. Quote
xwingyoda Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Yeah an "arrival at the temple" set with Bail's red speeder, temple scenery and either younglings or clones !!! Easy yet effective ;) Quote
