hewkii9 Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Not real, sorry. Those've been posted before, anyways. Quote
CopMike Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I´d say fake. No elf´s planned for release at all. CopMike Quote
posades Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Yep, I've seen these before and they are fake; good thing too because some of those are . Quote
Zarkan Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Those are so fakes. I´d say fake. No elf´s planned for release at all.CopMike Wh...what? Are you serious? If so, then this is very bad news for all the fantasy fans. Unless of course, you have to say that, seeing as you're in cahoots with the lego Company at the moment. Quote

Sorry to bring my elf agenda into this, but I really don't see why Castle has to have elves in it, there are more than enough things that Lego could add that are less expected and less likely to happen anyways if a Hobbit license is gotten *fingers crossed*. Steve Witt made it very clear in his keynote speech at Brickworld 2009 that there were not any plans to add elves to the Castle lineup. -Dave ToT-LUG Quote
Ricecracker Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Sorry Phillip10, but those do not look real to me, and, as CopMike said, Lego has no plans to release Elves. Wh...what? Are you serious? If so, then this is very bad news for all the fantasy fans. Unless of course, you have to say that, seeing as you're in cahoots with the lego Company at the moment. No, he's correct. Steve Witt told all Brickworld attendees at the opening ceremonies at Brickworld last month. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 As said, these have been discussed before. I've merged this topic with the previous one. Quote
Lego_Warlord_8 Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 The big one looks like a pretty descent MOC to me. but yes, the piggy backing troll and orc looks fake. ~LW 8~ Quote
gondortoast Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Says somebody with his own fake elf set in his sig! that was for a contest think before you post Quote

I seriously doubt anyone at Brickworld 2009 with knowledge of the 2010 lineup (and the 2011 lineup and beyond) would be allowed to acknowledge what is or isn't going to be released in the future. HumanPackMule Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 As much as I'd love to see elves introduced to the castle line, I just don't see that happening. Today's kids associate elves more with the ones that "Santa" has working for him. That may be why TLC won't add elves. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 that was for a contest think before you post Calm down. Oky Wan was joking, and that post was not even directed at you. Quote
Sandy Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Today's kids associate elves more with the ones that "Santa" has working for him. That may be why TLC won't add elves. I believe it's the opposite; in the past times elves were just Santa's helpers for most kids, but as fantasy literature and movies and games have gotten more and more popular, more kids are aware of the "fantasy-type" of elves. Oky Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 (edited) that was for a contest think before you post As Sir Dillon said, the emoticon was supposed to show that I was kidding. How about YOU think before you post? And was that really reason enough to dig up this old thread once more? Btw, I don't think that just because elves are sometimes associated with Santa's Workshop is the reason why TLC wont produce any sets with them either. Edited July 12, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
Dwarfinator Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Btw, I don't think that just because elves are sometimes associated with Santa's Workshop is the reason why TLC wont produce any sets with them either. It could be a holiday set. Then we just steal the elves out of it. Or maybe an advent calender thing. That would be cool. But, still, they said they weren't gonna make 'em, so let's all keep dreaming. Quote
