Hi friends,

after reviewing 7198 and 7641, next one will be 7686. Full review will be made of my friend, member of my AFOL forum, whom I sold one piece. Second I want to sell too, so I will not make review on my own, just translate his work later on. Before we will come with full review, see few pictures of the box:

Edit by Hinckley: Your pictures are way too large. I believe our mods have warned you about this before. See posting guidelines and tutorials here, please.

Frankly speaking, only one thing, that I find good at this set, is the orange bike. This was the main reason, why I decided to sell this set to my friend, instead of reviewing it on my own. 6357 was much better though.

Exactly my thoughts!

There´s nothing really special about this set besides the color.

But I´m always happy to see sets I don´t have to buy. Salvation for my wallet. And there are still some goodies to be released this year...

Yeah, I'm not feeling this at all. The truck seems oddly proportioned - too wide, not tall enough. The helicopter is uninspired and the windscreen seems really odd. Oh well! Still looking forward to the Camper more than anything for Town '09.

Thank you very much for these pics, Kanal-K1! :sweet:

Overall I really  this set!

Cons:

- very tall

- minifigs look very similar

Pros:

+ new color

+ nice accessory

+ truck with motor to see

+ nice bicycle

+ not too big truck (although I'm not a big fan of six stuck wide cars I must admit that a helicopter transporter with six stuck wide is really ok since the helicopter has to have place on it; the classic helicopter transporter with its four stuck wide was too little)

+ awesome designed helicopter :oh:

+ truck with car doors

Please more cars and trucks with car doors!!!

Oh well! Still looking forward to the Camper more than anything for Town '09.

Really?!

Imo the Camper is the worst City set of this year and even one of the worst City sets I've ever seen!

But ok, each to his own. :classic:

It's sorta odd why the main color in this set is orange. Isn't orange usually for the Coast Guard sets?

No. Think about it, the main color for Fire and Police sets are red and white, respectively, but you see cars and trucks in those colors all of the time.

Thankee for the pics, a wonderful set indeed.

Honestly, I have to disagree with both of you, as I really love both the Helicopter transport and the Camper. The Transport may be orange (which IMO is far from special now), but it has a really great cab design and includes a wonderful helicopter and orange bike. And while the Camper may have a poor interior, the exterior design is great, and I think the former could be easily modified while retaining the swinging door design of the back. Also, you can't go wrong with two awesome figures and the return of the surfboard (which I don't think has been seen for a very long time).

I love the new helicopter! I might have to make a civilian or police version :cry_happy:

Although I probable wont use the actual truck for a Helicopter Transport most of the time....

Probable for moving construction vehicles that are needed for moving debris in accidents or something.

I will probable get this set. :classic:

Actually, it was in last year's 7739 Coast Guard Patrol Boat & Tower. But I agree on the minifigs point.

And before that, it came in pearl silver in the 2006 Bionicle set Lava Chamber Gate :classic:

I can't say this one does anything for me. The cab is a really sleek design, but that's three of those style of low flatbed trucks this year alone (one in City Construction Site, the red one in the windmill set, one here) as well as the police HQ from last year.

I'd like to see the upcoming Agents helicopter try to land on this baby!
