VBBN Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Here is a question that no one has asked- How do you pronounce your username? As for me, it's actually supposed to be Vee-Bee-Enn, I know it's spelled VBBN, but you should say it VBN, as it's easier on the toungue and one of the B's is silent. Interesting, no? You? Quote
Legoman31 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I think that mine is obvious. Legoman thirty-one Quote
Erdbeereis Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Hmmm... Tough to explain except for Germans. I'll try. Ehrd-bear-ice. That's the best I can do for an explanation. Quote
k_peek_2000 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 It's simple :p Kay Peek Two Thousand :p Quote
Alice Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Well, my username is Alice. Most of you are probably struggling with saying it out loud when you say things like: "I bet that Alice chick on EB is hot. ImperialShadows sure is lucky." Except you just don't know how to pronounce Alice. I'd like to clear this up for all those who were wondering. It's pronounced Veronica. Quote

AwesomeStar Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I think me and Alice used that one up ~A.S. (or Flabbaby, take your pick!) Quote
Erdbeereis Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Oh. I've always pronounced it Ehrd-beer-ees. Yeah, that's how most people seem to think it's pronounced. They always think it has to do something with beer. The first part is actually pronounced more like Aird (As in Air), rather than Ehrd (as in turd. ) Quote
Darth Legolas Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Mine's real tough. People get it wrong all the time. Most people think it's pronounced" Darth Le-Go-Las." It's really pronounced Sacajawea! Quote

Eilif Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Mine is prounounced "eye-liff" The first syllable is pronounced "Eye" as in what you see with or if you may prefer to think of it as "I" as in how you refer to yourself. The second syllable is pronounced "liff" as in "cliff" without the C. It's my Danish middle name, and is supposedly related to the Norse word for immortal. Quote
Shadows Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 The second syllable is pronounced "liff" as in "cliff" without the C. But does anyone truly know The Meaning of Liff? Quote
