Toodles Posted April 10, 2009 Author Posted April 10, 2009 Maybe cutlass_iz, I think she's australian. Etzel, A fine attempt but I do not see any other answers so unfortunately I cannot accept your answer, muhahahaha! Put another shrink on the barbie, mate ! I'm with you Saint, the more Psychiatrists we burn the better!! But unfortunately you also are incorrect. What do we win? And: 1.-Star Wars 2.-7622 3.-Lego Maniac JEM? First of all, Mr Booger, you got the set number wrong so your answer has been disqualified, hehe! To set the record straight, most of you got the set correct, it is in fact set 7662 in the Star Wars theme. None of you however got all the answers correct so no bonus points. Now to the prize.... The winner is Saint, as he was the first to reply with correct answer, no bonus points though. Saint your prize is to hereafter be known as Mr Holy Crap that was fast! Do you research what sets look like before assembled, very impressive. I even took out the droid minifigs to try to foil you and you still got it in 0.2 seconds, you rock! And yes Etzel and everybody I am the husband of cutlass_iz. As I am perfectly proper I shall give Etzel 5 bonus points for his efforts. Well that's all folks, my daring idea for stumping you all has fallen into pieces, I am thoroughly impressed. Quote

Hewman Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 ROUND TWO20 points to win! 5 Points for the Theme, 10 Points for the Set Number, 5 points if you can guess what (Lego Related) I am getting Cutlass_Iz for her birthday. 1. Star Wars 2. Set 6210 (Jabba's Sail Barge) (those lattice like 8 x 8 pieces in tan are only available in two sets so that was a big hint) 3. Harry Potter Lego, in particular Troll on the Loose, set number 4712 (Based on her expressing in another thread that she's trying to track down HP lego and would love a troll). Quote
Svelte Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 ROUND TWO20 points to win! 5 Points for the Theme, 10 Points for the Set Number, 5 points if you can guess what (Lego Related) I am getting Cutlass_Iz for her birthday. I like this game! Star Wars - 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge - and you're probably buying lots of plastic storage tubs so she has somewhere to put her Lego that *isn't* all over the furniture/ computer/ floor Quote

And I concur with svelte_corps, this is a great game. Quote
Toodles Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 Hehe, you guys are great, the next time I am buying people gifts I am just going to ask you what you think I am getting, that way I get heaps of ideas. Congratulations must go to hewman and svelte_corps, both got the theme and sets correct. hewman you got in first so you are the winner this round, however you did not get the bonus question correct. Cutlass_Iz has said previously and recently what it is she wants and that is what I am getting so there is still a chance to take out the bonus question. Good Luck. P.s I am very glad you like this game, I shall have to get some more sets so that we may continue forrreeeevvveeeerrrr! Well Done. Quote
Hewman Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I tried searching but couldn't find the gift, so I'll have another stab in the dark and say the Shipwreck Hideout Pirate set because of its cool female pirate minifig. Quote
Izzy Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I'll give you a clue! If any of you actually read what I say... especially svelte_corps... then you would win. Quote
Alice Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 (edited) Alice? I am ImperialShadows POAFOL! I like the term AFFOL (Adult Female Fan of Lego) better than SheFOL (which is completely unrelated). So if we go by my rules Toodles is a POAFOL of a AFFOL. Welcome Toodles! I think in order to deal with this hobby as a POAFOL you have to have some AFOL in you. It's a fun hobby! I meant "It's a fun way of life!" Edited April 16, 2009 by Alice Quote
Svelte Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Sounds like a load of Poffle-Waffle to me! (Sorry - that acronym overload is crazy ) And cutlass_iz's bday present is the Toolbox! Woo! Quote
