I got around 1200 LBG 1x1 round tiles in the Leicester Square store the other day. I now own about 3000 of them, which is nice.

Munchen Riem store.    two large and one small cup

pab.jpg

I always realize too late that i could have better compensated between some part quantities.

Sven, i want your pab wall! We never see daleks (1x1 w/4 studs on sides) locally, i'd buy a case if we did. Wow nice haul!!!

Not exactly "my" wall, this is in Germany, about 350 miles from me.
Aren't the travis bricks or "daleks"  part of the December penguin mini-build?    I've seen them about two years ago at my local store, also in black.
The green slopes are part of the summer mini-build dump truck.

Anyone ever get ball joints from the Pick-A-Brick Wall?

I had some spare room in my last cup and ended up fitting quite a few pairs of these in.

Seems like more often than not, when I check the Lego Store Pick-A-Brick Wall, they didn't refresh it with new pieces. I want to buy another large cup, but there's not enough variety I'd want. Today I saw two different pieces that weren't there before: 1x1 sand green brick and a 1x4x? white thin wall piece.

Lego generally updates their walls once a quarter so we should be seeing an update this month. There is a Facebook page where members can exchange cups with one another with parts not available at their home stores. "Lego Pick a Brick Wall Exchange Group"

I saw something about a new free build a model (likely kids only) igloo using some of those unwanted staples of the pick-a-brick wall: black 1x1 c-clip & white curved corner and possibly a 6x12 blue plate on 1/14/17.

I tried looking at pick-a-brick online, and there are a bunch of pieces and colors they don't have. I couldn't gather all the parts I needed for a MOC instruction's parts list. There were very few options for minifigure helmets and hair. I hope when Bricks & Pieces comes back online 2/1, hopefully I can get them there.

Finally pick-a-brick wall got a few new pieces, including ball joints! Most of it was the same stuff as past couple of months. Just 4 pieces weren't there before.

From one small cup:

18x sand green 1x1 brick
1x 59349 white 1x6x5 hollow wall piece
2x white 2x4 brick
2x blue 2x4 brick
4x blue 4x6 plate
5x white 4x6 plate
4x black 4x6 plate
3x dark gray 4x4 plate
12x white 1x2 brick
4x old fashioned light green 2x4 plate
24x 2432 black 1x2 handle
45x 3794 black 1x2 tile with 1 stud
37x 14417 dark gray 1x2 plate with ball on long edge
35x 63082 light gray 2x2 plate with non-friction ball socket for swinging horizontally loosely
1x 44728 black angle plate 1x2 & 2x2 "L"

Wasn't packed carefully enough and had too much empty space.

(I just had a very old 1x1 transparent red plate crumble into two pieces! I thought those were made of polycarbonate.)

I think everything you list was at my store back in November. Maybe not ball joints, I don't remember.

I haven't made it back to my local store since then, so I don't know if their inventory has changed. I'll update here when I make it there--probably this week or next.

Try checking wallofbricks.com or brickbuildr.com for your particular store and see if anyone updated the parts log.

I think Phoenix, AZ, Orlando, FL, Vancouver, BC, Indianapolis may have people regularly updating their local stores. If only the Lego Stores employees would do this.

A few more pieces newly stocked on the wall in preparation for build a model construction back hoe (these weren't there last week when there were new pieces).

From large cup:

247x 14419 dark gray 1x2 ball end + cup end (double ended balljoints)
21x 14417 dark gray 1x2 ball on long edge
32x white 2x2 + 1x2 right angle
16x light gray 6014(?) medium tire rim with cross hole
16x clear 2x2x1 roof slope
9x 4623 dark gray 1x2 with vertical post
6x red 2x8 plate
12x beige 2x4 plate
4x blue 4x6 plate
33x light gray 1x1 brick with 1 side stud
39x black 1x2 with horizontal handle
46x red transparent round 1x1 plate
24x 3679 & 3680 light gray and white 2x2 turntable
12x light gray & black thin antenna/joystick
27x light gray 2x2 plate
1x orange 2x4 brick
1x blue 2x4 brick
33x white 1x2 plate with one stud
121x white 1x2x 2/3 slope bow

Using PAB Online prices, this would have costed $104+.

If I had waited a few weeks for PAB wall to have these balljoints instead of buying two Mixels packs, I could have gotten more balljoints for less money. If the wall didn't have these, I would have missed out on buying Mixels that are all gone from Target.

I went today and saw most of the pieces that @BubbaFit45531 did, plus some other parts of interest:

1x2 brick, trans-clear

1x1 brick with two SNOT studs, sand green :sweet:; the other sand green parts that had been there last time I went (1x2 plate and 1x1 brick) were gone.

1x1 plate with tooth, white (also used as icicles); forgot to put any in my cup.

1x2 plate with SNOT 1x2, green; may be leftover from last year when they had them.

various 2x4 bricks that they always put in the bottom row of bins, not much for unique colors though, as I recall.

I didn't get much, just one small cup:

The BAM station had some interesting bits, but not enough to convince me to spring for one.

Off to my first ever pick a brick wall today in Manchester (UK).

Its a 200 mile round trip have vouchers for the mall from Christmas so should be good..

I'll see if I can update wallofbricks.com later with it's contents..

I like the small cups for storage, but after seeing how expensive online PAB can get and fast, it's probably a better value to always go with large cup and just stuff it with misc commonly used parts to fill it up. Like a fool, I ordered some PAB online parts for a MOC that PAB Wall ended up stocking later.

If they do update the Wall quarterly, it'll be more than a year or two before I can gather the parts I need. I am happy about getting 247 balljoint pieces via large cup. I suspect they trickle out the parts rather than putting it all out as soon as they receive them, and I suspect they release the newly arrived parts in time for the calendar's model build events. I guess I should visit again soon.

I did notice that some of the customers of other area stores that update their Brick Buildr or Wall of Bricks page somewhat regularly had the same combination of parts that mine eventually did.

Hmmm..

seems there's TWO Lego shops in Manchester.. and I picked the wrong one..?

The one at Trafford Centre is a Legoland exhibit with a "gift shop" attached.. ?

While they DO have pick-a-brick, it's only a small stand, not a full wall..

i didn't have time or inclination to go to the other store in the centre of the city..

i came away with a small cup with a mix of dark grey 1x2 brick, black 1x2 brick with stripes and dark grey 2x2 bricks so as to not waste a trip.

Might take a train into London next time.. need loads more 1x2 dark grey and white amongst other things..

Those are Monthly Mini-Builds, not the Pick-a-Model. The PAM for now is a small white tractor/excavator. I made a return trip to my local store last Friday but forgot to take a picture of it.

The raccoon looks like it could be the PaB model.  Lots of great parts in there!

Really?  I was just there yesterday and it was a penguin.
