antp Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Since there's no Lego store anywhere near I live (in Belgium), Where are you in Belgium? I am in Brussels and the store in Lille is not that far away: 1h20 by car, and the town there is nice to visit at the same time ;) Quote
meyerc13 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I've been to Brickbuildr already, and the results for two of the stores I'm interested in are a bit old (a few months). Have you tried http://www.wallofbricks.com yet? It's much easier to update than Brickbuildr so many people are switching to it. The Chicago store at least was updated this week, I didn't check the others. Quote
jimmynick Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Thanks for the link; it's a bit of a help, but there isn't much information about the stores in VA. Quote

I'll bookmark it but according to the site my closest PAB wall (Overland Park, Kansas City, Mo) is currently emptier than my bank account. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Thanks for the link, but many stores I checked were empty. However, it's nice to have an alternative to Brickbuildr. Cara Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 ooh 1x1 round tiles came to Canada? Grr my US store says neither those nor the olive green cheese are on their list of things they can order. Here's hoping they make it since I've only seen them across the pond so far. Quote

The rounds made good filler for the bottom of the cup. Strange US store couldn't order them. Quote
Blast Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 For my first PAB cup I chose random pieces but I think from now on I'll make MOCs on LDD and buy those pieces. Quote

dr_spock Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 where are you located? might need to make a trip to the local store to check it out Hi. It was at the Fairview store in Toronto. Might be a real trip if you're in B.C. Quote

kinggregus Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I went to the Lego shop in Brighton and could not believe it: they had the 1x2 light gray bricks with maconnery. I took one full cup of those with olive cheese slope and a few 2x2 light grey tiles. Quote

The manager told me they weren't even available for US stores to order. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I got my stock of masonry bricks at the Factory store in Legoland park. It's great to hear that this specific part is coming to PaB walls, so it'll be easier (and cheaper) to get. Quote
Paperballpark Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 The 1x2 Masonry bricks have been available in Manchester (UK) on and off for about a month or two now. Quote
Cara Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) All those delicious colours and pieces that have been in Europe, they are arriving over in the US!!! They weren't even on the wall yet, I asked for a few I remembered and they pulled them from the back. From the Santa Clara store: 1x1 round tile lbg olive green cheese slope 1x2 tile light pink 1x1 round plate light pink and dark purple 2x2 round brick with grill side, white 1x2 plate lavender cone pearl gold 1x2 grill pearl gold no omnidirectional travis brick or 1x2 trans medium blue tiles yet but lets hope! soccerkid6 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 @Cara: Wow! Glad to see those cheese slopes and 1x1 round tiles appearing in the US, looks like you got some great pieces Quote
Paperballpark Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) @Cara how did you manage to get the small pieces into the lid without them falling out when you put it on? Edited September 4, 2013 by Paperballpark Quote
Cara Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 They are reusable cups, I reused the massively long strips of tape too! Quote
Paperballpark Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 oh so you used tape on the inside of the lid to hold them in? Interesting tactic, I might try that... Quote
dr_spock Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 oh so you used tape on the inside of the lid to hold them in? Interesting tactic, I might try that... Tape works well to hold items under the lid. The only drawback is you have to peel the Lego pieces off the tape when you get home. Quote
SpacySmoke Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 From the Santa Clara store: 1x1 round tile lbg olive green cheese slope 1x2 tile light pink 1x1 round plate light pink and dark purple 2x2 round brick with grill side, white 1x2 plate lavender cone pearl gold 1x2 grill pearl gold no omnidirectional travis brick or 1x2 trans medium blue tiles yet but lets hope! I had a similar haul from the Schaumburg, IL store yesterday and they had the 1x2 trans light blue tiles and omnidirectional bricks too! They had most of the good pieces in boxes off to the side just waiting for spaces to open on the wall. Someone had already taken most of the trans light blue tiles, though. Probably my best haul ever! Quote
NiceMarmot Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 From the Santa Clara store: 1x1 round tile lbg olive green cheese slope 1x2 tile light pink 1x1 round plate light pink and dark purple 2x2 round brick with grill side, white 1x2 plate lavender cone pearl gold 1x2 grill pearl gold no omnidirectional travis brick or 1x2 trans medium blue tiles yet but lets hope! Hit the San Mateo / Hillsdale store yesterday, and they had all of the ones you got (except perhaps the 1x2 lavender plates), plus: 1x2 trans blue tiles! 2x2 white jumper plates trans blue and purple 1x1 cones palm fronds I ended up getting four cups worth of it all. So you might want to drive up to San Mateo! Quote
