Posted April 11, 200915 yr Recently I was commissioned to make decals for WW2 characters (mostly Germans), so I figured I would share what I came up with here. I know that many of the weapons and headgear might not be historically accurate, but I just gave them whatever weapons I happened to have handy. Decal 1: Decal 2: Decal 3: Decal 4: Decal 5: Decal 6: Decal 7: Hope you like them! WW2 Decal Brickshelf ~Thrash
April 11, 200915 yr Hmmm, these look very familiar, some of them look like they are based on some of Damiens decals: Hmmmmmmmmmm
April 11, 200915 yr I call it 'intuition'. To be honest, while they DO look BrickArms-y, I don't care. Thanks to Thrash, we can now get 'em free! Good work, dude!
April 11, 200915 yr Author The people who commissioned these items did want some of them to look similar to the brickarms figs, but I tried to not just copy them exactly. That being said, when you're making decals of historical outfits, there is only so much variation that can occur if both customizers want it to look like the same thing. ~Thrash
April 12, 200915 yr Hmmm, these look very familiar, some of them look like they are based on some of Damiens decals: Who is this Damien? Does he design the figs for Brickarms? Because, as stated elsewhere, I am Damian, with an 'A,' rather than an 'E.' I especially love this fig in the quote, and plan to buy a bunch of them from Brickarms as soon as they are restocked on everything. Great job Thrash, they all look accurate, and well executed.
April 14, 200915 yr Thanks for sharing, Thrash. As for the 'they look similar to' matter, please remember to always credit the source or refernce material when it is other decal makers jobs (something like a 'freely inspired to Damien's work' in this case). Thanks LuxorV
October 30, 201410 yr Thanks a TON for posting these wonderful decals, Thrash! If it's okay with your permission, could I edit some of these decals to have a white or light flesh neckline? I'd love to use these with light flesh body parts, but it looks a little strange when the original neckline design is yellow. Will still give credit when asked about decals. Thanks again, Brick Commando Edited October 30, 201410 yr by Brick Commando

October 31, 201410 yr Alright, so I'm guessing yes? Uhm, because there is very little difference between both of our designs. He has yellow and I'm editing it to be both blank (white) and light flesh. Thanks for the quick response, Brick Commando
