Hello everybody! :sweet:

Since it's now spring here's my LDD creation I designed some days ago:

Greenhouse

Pieces: 154

Price: 32,61(Germany)

It’s spring, the flowers are blooming and the plants begin to grow. So it’s time for you to water the flowers inside your greenhouse and to look after the plants and sunflowers outside.

This set includes a green house with too flowerbeds, some plants and a bed with some big sun flowers outside, a female gardener, a lot of plants and some accessory.

Simple in style but definitely nice for the eyes. Perfect colour scheme: white house plus the green of the plants. You even considered the fact that sunflowers always move their heads towards the sun. So you didn't put the blossom on the top of the plant but on its side.

Nice Job Klaus,

You really managed to fit alot of detail into a fairly small space, and still keep a very low piece count. Really a great example of the kind of buildings LEGO should be doing.

Very nice KD. I must admit that I'm not a big fan of LDD creations, as I like to see the "real thing", but this MOD really has a nice charm about it, and is probably my favorite of your LDD creations. I like the small style about it. The sunflowers are perfect, and is also one of the best uses for those large yellow flower pieces. I'm going to have to order some of these. These would make a great addition to one's Tabletop Farm.

This is definately a Seasonal MOC! (but then again, greenhouses are year-around, aren't they).

Wonderful creation!

This one deserves a BLOG!

Thanks, legotrainfan! :classic:

Since I intentionally wanted to build it similar to the official style of Lego City sets I thought that there have to be many different colors in order that kids like it. And there of course have to be sunflowers. But it's not only that: I, too, think that a greenhouse has to have a lot of plants, a little garden next to it etc.

Nice Job Klaus,

Lovely Greenhouse, Klaus-Dieter, I really like the colour scheme and the use of the space  It would be a great set!

Thanks, Eilif and BlueBard! :classic:

I totally agree with you! An official set with a garden and a greenhouse would be perfect and  and could be used as additional set for the Farm theme, as market garden for your Lego City or simply as addition for a family house.

Looks great, especcialy the sunflowers in front of the greenhouse are well done.

Good job on this  .

Thanks, Zorro! :classic:

I thought that there must be some sunflowers next to the greenhouse. And btw: What is spring/summer without sunflowers?!

I'm glad to read that you like it! :cry_happy:

And thank you very, very much for adding this my MOC to classic-town.net! :classic:

nice use of the flowers  and i like the orange accents even though it makes it look not like a green house

Thanks, prateek! :classic:

To the colors: I must honestly say that I was't sure (and still am not) whether this shall be a greenhouse or a market garden. Perhaps this is the reason for the "strange" colors (perhaps even not  ).

I fear that your link doesn't work - when I click on it it always says "Not found". What is mcts?

Btw: Welcome to EB, mathew! :classic:

I must have missed this one the first time around. It's brilliant! The sunflowers are great, and it really does fit into the official LEGO style, while also being completely original.

Thanks, Mariko! :classic:

Yes, the sunflowers are my favourite part of this my MOC, too. It's strange that TLG hasn't already invented them themselves and included in some sets.

Hmmm - well - I recognized them at first sight:

Well done Klaus on a fun little design that isn't too pricey for what it is. I like the shape of the greenhouse and the colour scheme.

Bravo.

Thanks, I Scream Clone! :classic:

I, too, think that a set similar to this one would not be too pricey but offer a very nice and lovely set you could add to the new Farm sets as well as to the regular City sets.

Thank you very much for this information, Jesper! :classic:

I didn't know that TLG already has invented them - I must have missed this one.

Great design, simple yet eye pleasing. It would be a great set to include in the farm theme. Perhaps a small chair/table could be added for the minifigs to admire the plants

Thanks, Sajer! :classic:

The idea of adding a table with a chair to it that someone can sit next to the greenhouse is great!

Plus I do completely agree with you that a greenhouse would be a perfect addition to the Farm theme.

Btw: Welcome to EB, Sajer! :classic:
