Commander Flash Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 (edited) In Wild Space, the small planet of Muran VII is under control by separatists. Commander and the 707th regiment is offered to lead the invasion. The clones hoped for an easy victory, but they were ambushed and were forced to fight on the low ground. (WWII fans may get the gist of what battle this is) Blurry because its showing motion: The MCA is scaling up the hill A commander is being attacked by a trandoshan Do Trees block bullets? The clone climbing up got his hand crushed by a droids foot Commander Flash: I don't.... don't know what's gonna come of this battle. The droids are holding their position with an iron fist... End Transmission... Edited April 12, 2009 by Commander Flash Quote
SWMAN Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 While it was a nice idea, trying to add motion by having shaky pictures really takes away from the MOC. The blurriness makes it hard to understand what is going on. It looks like a nice MOC, but with the blurry pictures it is hard to know what is going on. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Good MOC, I love the mountian, but why are there ads for the dumb test at the bottom of every picture??? Quote
The Who Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 (edited) (WWII fans may get the gist of what battle this is) Can you say.....D-Day? Obviously. But anyway, I have to agree with SWMan here, the blurriness does take away from the MOC. And Legolas, it might be that the ads are there because of where he uploaded the pics from. (?) CommanderFox Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 NICE good idea on the blurry pics but I agree with SWMAN that it would be better without them being blurry, then we could see the battle CommanderFox Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) Sorry about the blurriness. I've got the most unsteadiest hands this side of the mississippi I used ImageShack. Eventually this will be part of a comic featuring Flash (see avatar) and the 707th. Edited April 13, 2009 by Commander Flash Quote
CommanderFox Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Thats OK we Forgive you just post some more pics of the battle Without Blurryness on Flickr or Brickshelf if you have either CommanderFox Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) Thanks for the tip Commander Fox. I didn't want to include the laat/i because it dwarfed everything. Gotta make a medium sized one. Edited April 13, 2009 by Commander Flash Quote
KimT Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Sorry, but to me this looks like 2 baseplates with all your figs on them. But then again, it's kinda hard to say with so blurry pics. Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I'd say this looks really good Reasons: Nice addition of tan and blue pieces to make it have landscape Looks like a real battle But the MCA looks a little weird when it was scaling the mountain Looks like you should make a comic Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 It will look more battle-y on ce i take the new, non blurry pictures Quote
Future74 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Maybe you can do a course with smokebelch, he makes razersharp pictures Quote
Commander Flash Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 I've seen his pictures. Very high quality. Pictures coming tommarrow. Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) Looks like the cameraman got shot down when he took the pictures. The pictures should be redone, and sadly the clones don't seem to have any artillery, gunships, fighters or walkers at their command, only a tank. Plus the clones don't have any cover. but a good model none the less. You could reuse the landscape model and position the droids like snipers or in an ambush sort of way. Plus add some more vehicles... Edited April 19, 2009 by CloneCommanderDelta7 Quote
jifel Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I believe the lack of Clone cover was intentional, as it is reminiscent of D-Day. Although, better pics would be great... jifel Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 No cover for the Clones! It should be the other way: droids attacking clones. Then it would be a good Kashyyyk beach battle! Quote
