So was I.

So was everybody, with the exception of the last day of Mystery Castle, we've never had the privilege of killing Shadows off! :cry_sad:

Aw nuts. I was hoping we'd get to see Ivy's death scene... :cry_sad:

Well, you guys were rushing me, and I figured you wanted results as soon as possible.

Rushing you? In the future, just ask me to close the thread and take your time to do the game the way you want to do it. Just keep us informed on how long you think things will take you. Most importantly, we all want to see Shadows die. You know when you play a video game and you get to a point where the game takes over and gives you action in an animation? Don't you feel ripped off when it's real short or doesn't show a new location or have very cool graphics? Don't let people cut your game short by nagging. I'd like it to be faster as well, but if you say "A conviction has been reached, this day is over. Results of the vote will be up in two days." that would be fine. If you just say "Don't post until I put up the results," and then stay online people are going to nag you. Take the time to run your game and communicate how long things are taking you. That should make things easier for everyone.

Now let's see Shadows die please.

Okay (not ok-ey) dokey, then, will do. I'll edit it in whenever possible.

I imagine it's much easier to run a game when you can lock a thread on a whim and then reopen it, but having multiple mods participating in your game does help.

PM me or Shadows, or simply say "Mods, please lock this now" in your last post.

It's your game, make it what you want it to me. Go for the Academy Award here... stick to your ideas and don't let naggers sway you.

I agree with Hinck. An easy way that I've found while hosting games elsewhere is to just include the voted death at the beginning of the next day. It allows you to use more characters and show more things than just the deaths from the Night Actions.

I'm dead, but if you were to search my room Silent-Sigfig...

I know! He's driving me nuts with 'lets go search rooms!' whats the point of the game then? "Duh duh duh, I found a quarter in his room, hes a spy" :hmpf: C'mon!

YEAH! I damn well expect a death scene, and so does my public! It'll be my greatest performance!

You know, when I died in Mystery Castle, my only other death, it triggered the end of the game so it was sort of unfulfilling as well.

NOW KILL ME RIGHT!

Bastards...

Unfulfilling!? You just sealed your doom my good sir...

I want to see the death scene too please. :sweet: It's great to see Shadows dying for once.

LOL! Everyone is just eating this up. Strange to see ya go Shadows!

Given the lack of investigator, inability to determine the final loyalty of the dead, and the confusion over what's a clue, what's a joke, and what's just a plot device, I think it's hilarious. Since it was based completely on revenge and not the game itself, I get to sit back and laugh knowing that at least I didn't screw up, whether I was a spy or not.

I'm kind of glad to be on the sidelines now, it should be amusing to keep up with the bumbling and guesswork.

It wasn't revenge. Happy Birthday!

C...c...coffee? Is that similar to tea or whiskey by any chance? Perhaps I shall try some...

Coffee is a heavenly substance that far surpasses your inferior goat urine (which you call "tea"). As for whiskey that's something completely different, which fulfils different needs, however whisky (note that there's no 'e') is preferable.

Why, oh, why do people keep voting along with their night actions? How it irritates me so.

Simple solution: if they do, reply that their night action won't count due to them not being able to do things properly. That should take care of things quickly.

In some countries, an 'e' is used before the y. Perhaps 'ky' is used in your country while the 'key' variant is used in Dragonator's.

This sounds like a good plan. :classic:
