New Jersey Govenor Resigns

Holy shit, I was watching the news and they said the Govenor of NJ was going to resign because of "personal reasons" aka an affair.

Then he said something shocking...

"My truth is, I'm a gay American."

This is with his second wife standing next to him, at least one of his kids in the room with his parents there and he is telling the nation in front of everyone saying that he is gay and had a gay affair. I was shocked and almost fell to the floor.

Now as a gay man I wish he didn't resign but there seems to be more to it than him having an affair with a gay. Clinton had an affair with a pig and he didn't resign so it's just... wow...

Bahh, here people don't really care of gay-things. Some people are gay, for sure, but we let them in peace, like for instance Paris mayor, who is gay.

I don't think a gay affair would make that much of a big deal outta here... And here people respect private life ;)

For instance the "clinton affair". Here everybody laughed because almost all our presidents have more than one women (The president before Chirac has one child with another women). And the fact is that... Nobody cares :)

Well just take a look : mayors of most of the European cities are gays. Who is the mayor of London ? Jon ? Sam ? An idea ? And is this guy gay ?

Here in france, some jobs are kinda reserved for gays. Like in Universal music, half the staff is gay (a gay told me that, so it must be true)

And gays also say some hugely high number of people is gay, it's called making stuff up to make themselves feel better.

In America we are dumb and all "gays are going to destroy the worldish", it's sad.

The real news is they knew he was going to resign, but when he said that he was gay, and the way he said it was shocking. I think one of his kids was in the room again the wall making faces because there were reports that his children were really upset.

Well I'm sure if his kid didn't know about it, it cames as a real shock for him. I can hardly think of my father telling me he's gay :blink:
