Guss Posted April 22, 2009 Author Posted April 22, 2009 Perterz thanks a lot ^^ Just the front of the tan building seems a bit to simple compared to the rest, but maybe we want to much A friend told me the same^^ but it seems that the other buildings of the exhibition will not be "overdetailed" so I think I'll let it be like this^^ Thanks a lot Klaus-Dieter, you prefer buildings that open at the back ? but these one will be in a middle of a city for an exhibition done for non-lego fans ( they'll be at a train exhibition ), so I think that these kind of buildings will be more appreciated + as they'll be between rails and road, I think it'll look better if they're totally closed^^ the two trucks will be at the exhibition, I'll put the black one on the road, somewhere ^^ so you like my Yellow sport car ? I love it too, I built it only because... I wanted to! I didn't plan to build it at the beginning, it's just that I found the yellows/oranges slopes I put at the front, and told myself " hey , I can make a car with this! " so I'm glad you like it^^ and I'm quite proud of my little pool too! thanks! Quote
Guss Posted June 4, 2009 Author Posted June 4, 2009 (edited) Sorry for the double post, and for bumping a so old topic, but I came back from the exhibition were I was supposed to put these two little buildings so I decided to show you the final result : here is a link to the gallery : http://guss.teammu.com/modules/extgallery/...lbum.php?id=127 here is a link to a bigger gallery, but full of "non lego" stuff : http://gallery2.freelug.org/main.php/v/gus...ts/Miramas2009/ and here is a little picture selection : Here is the complete layout, you can see Pierrick( PZ ) a Freelug member, and my girlfriend on it. You can also see that I also brought my tank to the exhibition, just for fun, actually it's fighting against a mad cow! They had a lot of fun destroying my tank again and again, with a train, with elephants... Or making it play soccer.. So here are my two littles modules, in the middle of it : As I know that there's a lot of train fan around, here are some pics of 2 models (not mine, I don't build train ^^ ) This one is very cool, it's called the "locotonneau" ( Locobarrel ) , and it's piloted by an indian Dwarf ( it's a play with words, in french, dwarf = nain > "un nain dien" and "un indien" sounds the same. ) Here is a very cool module of Jérome ( JAC ) , a freelug member , My girlfriend and I made the forest, but the rest was made by Jérome. ( and yes my girlfriend is talking ) There's a lot more pictures on the gallery I posted, if you see destroyed tank and bridges, that's ok, we just invented the 'bull train' game ( the rules are simple, destroy as much minifigs as you can with a train ^^ ) I hope you enjoyed! A little bonus for train fan : ( more pics here) Edited June 4, 2009 by Guss Quote

Guss Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) Thanks Bluebard, my poor tank suffered a lot ^^ Gouns, the rule of the forum are to write in english, so I'll write in english, ask me on MSN if you need it in french^^ the roof of the coffee ? it's blocked with 4 put horizontally with the roof bricks, connected to the walls, you can see it there : on this image : http://photos.freelug.org/main.php?g2_view..._serialNumber=2 you can see that the tile end one stud before the wall, just add a 1x1brick to this stud and attach it to the back of the , and then it's attached !
