How Many Minifigs do you own?

WOW. Do you play Brikwars/any other Lego war games? Only, it would so much fun having all of those guys fighting away, with vehicles and everything! How many are there, and do you own enough weapons and such to equip them?

It would also be a pain to move them all and calculate attacks for every one each turn.

This makes me want to count all my figs to see how many I have got. But judging from the fact that my brother collected Lego for 20 years, then gave me his collection back in 1987, and ive been collecting ever since then, so im guessing thousands. I only really ever use about 40 of them regularly for mocs, most are in boxes in the loft and havn't seen the light of day for years. Ive amassed 110 new green draggon Knights since xmas, but I probably will never use them either. Its just an addiction. From looking at my setlists, I'd say nearly 4000, but then theres also all the factions ive built up through bricklink, ebay etc. I think I will dig them all out and take some pics.

I havent done a lego "census" for a short while, but, considering all the new figures I've gotten over the last 2 years, I'd say about 1000 now.

I have seen this topic afloat in it's subforum for quite some time now and as it managed to reach over 15 pages of answers I finally feel inclined to add my spice to the melange ( fuelled by enough cabernet sauvignon that is ^^).

How many minifigs do I own?

Now, I haven't counted them, but definitely too many of them reside in my vicinity. This is partly a matter of ongoing collecting and newly acquired loads of collectable minifigs.

Fun thing: Usually my collection is stored in a spacious room a story above my flat, yet, as temperatures dropped over our harsh winter, most of my minis migrated to my kitchen table and took residence there, where they still dominate half of the surface. And these are only a fraction of what still lurks in boxes dark above ^^.

All in all one could argue that I own more minifigs than healthy. Or manageable for that matter. Even so, I feel my perception of minis as a whole has changed towards seeing them more as "parts supply" than "play figures" as most of my figs undergo at least a moderate procedure of customisation before being "accepted" in my collection.

And thus, having a myriad of dismembered minifigures at my disposal, I say I got more figures than healthy ^^

According to Brickset, currently 545. However, at my current rate of getting new sets, plus the huge amount I will be getting for my birthday this month, by next month I estimate it will be well over 400.

1826 is a ton, is that the most so far? i saw 3,000 but 1826 is an exact number.

I am sorry to revive this thread,but my last post was a miscount,I said I have 254 minifigs,I actually have 450 minifigs!

According to Brickset, I own 148.

According to Brickset, I have 1931 minifigures.

Not sure how accurate it is though, since it also says I have 1012 sets (662 different) but, they only have piece counts for 536 of them. I don't know if the minifigures from the OTHER sets are included, or not.

I really have no idea... even though I spent most of yesterday sorting out my entire Lego collection! At a guess, I'd say around 200-300 complete figures, although I've lost and gained a few odd parts since (mainly heads and headgear). In fact, I found one of the old white baseball caps today, lost inside the chair! But this thread has inspired me... I shall soon count out my entire collection.

I've honestly never counted. To be honest every time i go to the drawer that contains themI'm surprised at the ones I do have. I buy them loose and sort them and forget I have them. I know the largest quantities I have are policemen and construction workers. Other overall wearing workers and firemen come close second. I'll have to count them some day when I've nothing else to do.
