Mr_Malfoy Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) According to Brickset, I own 342 minifigs But one of the most beautiful minifigs I own is definitely Bellatrix "Stupid elf! You could've killed me!" "Dobby never meant to kill. Dobby meant to maim or seriously injure." Edited May 14, 2011 by Mr_Malfoy Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Well over 720 now, thanks to a few minifig buildings at the Lego Shop, some un listed randoms from eBay lots. I am going to eneed to buy more storage boxes for my minfig parts! Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) Around 200 hundered non Harry Potter or star wars minifigures, then around 100 Harry Potter minifigures and 300 star wars tots ing at around 700 Edited May 15, 2011 by Jedi master Brick Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I have just counted them and there are 102. That is since I started collecting around Christmas time. It does not include the several hundred minifigs from the various space ranges over the years that are stored away in my mother's attic and unaccesible. Just the recent ones since my return. Quote
Hoboman Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I think mine is just over 150 and my son is at abou 200. Quote
Legofan4ever88 Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Does anyone think they can multiply like bunnies? I just did my first tally recently. If my math is right, I have 140 males, 18 females, 2 of unsure gender, and 4 skeletons. Plus I have 2 male heads + hair in order from eBay and plans of getting not only the parts to finish the heads from the lego site but also the parts for 5 more figures(4 for me and one for a family member) That order will add 3 males and 4 girls. Where did all the figures come from? Quote

Legofan4ever88 Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Except for 4 scuba divers in a different container and the 2 unsures in a small container, they're all mixed between 3 containers(one has about 6 in it but that container is about to get an organizing session so those figs will be put in one of the other 2 soon.). I was orginally thinking about seperating them, but I know i'd just wind up w/ them mixed up sooner or later. Quote
Piratedave84 Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Brickset says 963; that however does not include figs contained in a trade with sci-fi Link to pic So I'd say I have about 1000 figs Pirate Quote
Loki Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 I've counted that I own roughly 30ish minifigs. Of course, this doesn't take into account the amount I've lost over the years, or the ones I've given away on occasion to some people for a variety of reasons. Quote
Ralph Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Well brickset says I have 882... Guess I need to buy more. Ralph Quote
Lord Insanity Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Well I own 100 copies of the Rock Raiders Mini-fig pack. (3 space figs, a construction worker, and a Confederate troop per pack ) I know how much space those 500 figs take up compared to the rest of my figs, so I would say at least 5,000. Probably closer to the 6,000 - 7,000 range. I have also been collecting Lego for almost 30 years and I never had that weird "Dark Age" that so many AFOLs seem to go through. Lets see I have over 100 Stormtroopers, over 100 vikings, over 300 Blacktron 1s, over 200 Yellow Futrons, almost 100 Union troops (Wild West soldiers), and over 100 skeletons. Those are just off the top of my head without actually looking. That is the sort of thing that happens when you like and try to get at least some sets from most of the mini-fig themes. Needless to say I love the diversity in the collectible mini-fig line, which of course only makes my population grow. Of course now that I have a kid my Lego budget has gone down to very little, so that helps limit growth. I never really thought my collection was that large but I guess that puts me in the crazy high number range. Quote
Lego Otaku Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 I have somewhere between not enough and too many. For one thing, I know I have about 50 classic Space Minifig, 30 skeletons, and about 120 SW Stormtroopers. Probably around 500 total minifigs. I really need to sort my entire collection. Quote

madoka Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 over 300 Blacktron 1s, over 200 Yellow Futrons I have similar numbers of these minifigs, so I know how hard they are to complete. The Blacktron I torsos and yellow legs are difficult to find in large quantities. Quote

The Blacktron I torsos and yellow legs are difficult to find in large quantities. Most of my figs come from buying/getting as gifts actual sets or yard sale lots (think Ebay but in person) over the past 30 years. The Blacktron 1 and Yellow Futron figs are some of the few that were straight up bricklink purchases. They are also promo figs that are glued together with no airtanks. The hands, arms, and legs still move though. It was almost 10 years ago I got them for $0.25 a fig. At the time the guy had like 10,000 of each for sale and that was the only thing in his store. I wish I had gotten more of them, they work good as generic troops under the command of "real" figs. Here is one of my Blacktron 1 platoons of 80. Quote
Bearded Castle Guy Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 While I haven't done a MinFig census in probably 6 or 7 years now, the last time I did it was around 1200-1300 or so. I'd have to guess it'd be in-between 1800-2000 atm ( I really haven't sorted my collection much which makes it hard to get an accurate count). Quote
TheKingOfBuilding Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 According to Brickset, I have 653 minifigures however, I have many separte minifig pieces so I guess I have around 700 minifigures altogether. Quote
Hoboman Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 So just curious, for the guys who have large numbers, ho wmany do you have on display and how many do you have in boxes packed away? Quote
ryanfitton Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 About 35, I sold most of my basic minifigs ages ago :/ Quote
Ogre Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 So just curious, for the guys who have large numbers, ho wmany do you have on display and how many do you have in boxes packed away? Hmm...good question. Umm...I'm GUESSING that I have maybe 25% of mine 'on display' (and I'm definitely 'guessing' on that) out of over 2000 figs. MAYBE as much as 33.33% but, I don't think it's quite that high. Quote
