Niku Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Only 78 But hopefully they shall increase in numbers Quote
Captain Blockbeard Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Brickset tallies my collection at 1207. Not bad considering I have only just recently initiated myself into the ranks of Lego collectors that "army-build." So, these figures are just from sets and not bought in bulk on Bricklink. Quote
def Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Twelve thousand minifigs? Actually, it's around 600, but I wanted to liven up this topic Quote
Davey Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 According to Brickset, I'm sitting at 3,555. With some recent CMF additions, I think it's more around 3,900. -Davey Quote
legomaniac83 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 My Brickset number - 855. Most likely near 900 with the amount of bulk lots I've bought. Quote
madoka Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 My last count was around 26,000. But by now I should be approaching 30,000 or so. These days I'm somewhere over 40,000 minifigs. The bulk of it is Castle and Star Wars. Pirate and Space make up about 3,000 each. One day I'll hire day laborers to help me take pics. Quote

Either you are a convincing story teller or have unlimited storage space and budget. Quote

Dont you want to donate a 1% of your total? to me.... Quote

vexorian Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I have over 9000 about 30 figs, I think. Quote
fred67 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Brickset: 721. But it's not accurate (it's too low, I don't put every set I own into brickset the second I get it; nor do I put every single CMF I buy into it). It's actually kind of depressing because so many are languishing locked away in boxes until I have room to display them, although I probably have a couple of hundred scattered about on display currently. I'm sitting in my office at work and count... 43 on display, both in sets and MOCs. That doesn't include the CMFs I just took home to put in their new cases... another 48 that would normally have been here otherwise. They add up quickly... when I started counting at my office I didn't expect the number to be that high, but a couple of SW battle packs and you've got 8 right there. Quote
ziljin Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 If I had to guess somewhere around 200. ~15 space police I-III ~30 Prince of Persia ~20 dwarves ~30 trolls ~20 Crown Knights ~30 Lion Knights ~20 Dragon Knights ~10 Pirates/Soldiers ~10 City ~10 Power Miners/Monsters Quote
Zorbas Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Actually, it's around 600, but I wanted to liven up this topic I knew you would say something like that... ...but still, I went after the bait. Quote
buddy Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 According to Brickset I own exactly 500 minifigs, but I have more than that, probably closer to 600 because I have a lot of loose minifigs I haven't put on Brickset. ~buddy~ Quote

I do feel that 10 is the perfect number of units to represent a faction unless you're getting into army building. I always like to build a hierarchy with different soldier types and usually end up with 6 general looking soldiers, 2 specialized ones, a leader, and some type of special character. Damn RTS games for skewing my mentality. Quote

smittyfan Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 17 XD nice!! i was starting to think i was the only one around with less than 100.. been awhile since i've counted up all my minifigures, but i don't have very many... maybe around 20-30, plus besides those i do have exactly 20 Belville figures!! not sure if those count as minifigures, to most.. so in total aproximately 40-50 maybe... but then again, some of the Toy Story characters don't count as 'minifigures' either, according to Lego... i'll count 'em all up, tonight... or tomorrow...
