keetong Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) I was searching round brickshelf and I randomly found this. I'm wondering are they new? Rest can be found here Link Edited April 19, 2009 by keetong Quote
tin7_creations Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) I think these are the Lego electronics series coming out later this year. I heard they target younger people. I would buy the USB memory sticks and speakers though.. and maybe the alarm clock. Edited April 19, 2009 by tin7 Quote
Skipper 24 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 A nice find. I will probably get a USB memory stick although I doubt the memory will be any higher than 512mb. Quote
keetong Posted April 19, 2009 Author Posted April 19, 2009 Thr stop animation cam sounds good, I hope it comes with its own program. Quote
Millacol88 Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 The USB stick looks kind of cool. These will be ridiculously overpriced though. Quote
Skinny Boy Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Thanks for the find. That stop-motion camera better be cheap! Quote
ILikePi Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) This was already posted on Brickset. Here's a link to a folder with more pictures: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=373934 The USB memory stick and stop animation video camera look great, but the others have too many random colors... If the studs on the USB and video camera are System compatible, that's cool. I probably won't be getting these, though. I want to save up my money for the 2009 Star Wars sets. EDIT: Those six things that keetong found (the picture he posted) were at the Toy Fair. I think that they were just 6 pieces of paper taped or glued to the wall as seen here. pesgores Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 If I have access to them, I'll get the USB pen drive and the Stop Animation Camera (actually, Stop-Motion Animation). Quote
Spyder Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I might get the USB drive. The stop-motion animation camera looks cool, but it will probably be way overpriced. Quote
Legoking Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Does anyone know when these products come out in stores and how much they will cost? LegoKing Quote
ILikePi Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 (edited) i wont get any, but i can make a lego USB Like the LEGO USB Stick on Instructables.com? Does anyone know when these products come out in stores and how much they will cost? This Brickshelf folder says that they're coming out in the summer: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=373934 Edited April 24, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
Madcat2000 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I've been thinking about getting USB drive to backup my LDD files anyway. I'd probably get the speakers too. Quote
prateek Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Like the LEGO USB Stick on Instructables.com? of course Quote
VBBN Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I saw a minifig usb on brickshelf, looked great. Anywho, I won't get these, and I assume the camera is bad quality fo only $20. Not Nikon quiality, that's for sure. Quote
Oky Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) Yeah, it really looks like the only thing suited for an adult fan of lego among these is the USB drive. I might get it, but probably not, as I already have two. Hm... I wonder if these are actually compatible with Lego so that you could incorporate them in mocs. Just imagine a train layout with the speakers built into a mountain or train station (so that the ugly colors are hidden), making various train/train station sounds! PS: Can a mod please rename this thread? The title is a bit unspecific. Edited April 27, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
VBBN Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Is i just the picture or the the USB have a very flat front port? Quote
ILikePi Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 VBBN, it's not only you. I also think that it seems too thin to fit a USB drive. Quote
