MOC: Weaver's Workshop

Last weekend I took a wee breather from college work after finishing my final year project. This meant that I embarked on another Lego creation with my mum (she owns the bricks, and has great design ideas).

We built another part of the village to go with brickzone's MOCs (Norman style church -Old version here- , Bakery, Apothecary) and his Medieval Market (10193), and my own Alchemist's Lab.

I had great fun making the spinning wheel and the loom, although I'm much happier with the spinning wheel. Here's a few pictures:

A few other pictures can be found here. We're also working on a carpenter's house and yard (nearly complete except for interior), but that probably won't be finished for a few weeks (after my exams!). Plans are also in the pipeline for a dairy.

These pictures are much better thanks to my talented photographically expert brother (not brickzone, another one). Any comments are very welcome!

I think this can be essentially summed up with the word 'wow'.

I love it! It's got all the charm of the Medieval Market Village and yet plenty more fine details, the interiors are great and I especially like the workshop section. I can't say i'm sure on the colours of the roof in both parts, however if this were an official product i'd snap it up without a second thought!

I was away when this was built, it was quite a surprise to see in person. I think it's an admirable addition to the village :)

Thanks for the encouragement! And the roof will have to stay as it is. I've decided to diversify into other roof colours besides black. One of the buildings will probably have a yellow roof, and one will have a red one, probably.

The blue building, which is not yet finished (especially the interior!) is going to be a carpenter's/woodcutters' yard/wheelwright.

Oh man that's just awesome^^ just build a "base" to put them all , and it'll be the perfect medieval village! great great job, I can't wait to see more details of your new building^^

you know what? the most impressive details of the moc to me

is the landlady with a serious expression, and i love your spinning

wheels. That's another awesome details I thought. The closet with

a mirror is still other a great work. I enjoy in your medieval field as well

hope the carpenter's house will display to us in a minute..
