Forresto Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Nice find OKY, Read the web comic and then tried playing the game but could'nt beat it. Has anyone beat it yet? Quote
Xenophilius Studz Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I'm personally very excited for Season II. However, I missed most of Season I, so I have been surfing the web trying to find all the Clone Wars episodes I'm missing. Making Mandalorian's Pacifist however, turns me off completely. Quote
Forresto Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I'm personally very excited for Season II. However, I missed most of Season I, so I have been surfing the web trying to find all the Clone Wars episodes I'm missing.Making Mandalorian's Pacifist however, turns me off completely. Here's a site I found a while ago that has all the episodes on it. link . It's not official but has all the episodes on it. It's strange beacause I think it was originaly all on youtube but copyright infringments got them to do they're own site. I don't have a problem with pacifist mandolorians as long as most of the population stays the way we love them. It's like saying that a civilization all love war or all are scientists. It's okay for it to be most of that civilzation to think that way but there is always a small groupthat thinks differently. Quote
Oky Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) Another commercial, a longer one, featuring mandos: Those Mandos don't look so pacifistic to me. Edited September 16, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
hollisbrick Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Another commercial, a longer one, featuring mandos: Those Mandos don't look so pacifistic to me. Thanks for the video! I agree, the Mando's still look epic. Man, if they make em a bunch of pussy's I'll be sooo angry! But I'm sure they'll live up to the awesomeness they are! Quote
Raphy Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Just another Boba Fett for me, but then again I've been literally dying for a Boba Fett minifig . . . . Quote
Forresto Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Every time i have any doubts about the show, they have swiped away with the coming of another welcomed trailer I think the Geonosis episode(s) will probably be like last season's Ryloth Trilogy in length. Okay it might not be Gonosis but i think it only makes sense if it is. Cad Bane is starting to get better and better for me. Quote
Oky Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Just another Boba Fett for me, but then again I've been literally dying for a Boba Fett minifig . . . . Then why don't you get the magnet set? Quote
-JD- Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Thanks for the link Oky, though I saw this on Youtube a week ago. Notice how the end part when the Mando kicks the screen is like the Republic Commando trailer ending? I think this was intentional, because there have been other references to other events all along the SW timeline. Quote
Raphy Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 By the nuts of my squirrel grandfather, I declare myself restless for that new season . . . . Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Where does it say these mado's are Pacifists? Quote
Corvus Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Deino found it: Then get ready for Pacifist Mandalorians!I kid you not. I ran across the info while reading the new Essential Atlas, and Wookiepedia already had it handily typed up. No wonder Karen Traviss is giving up Star Wars novels, seeing as the TV show is about to toss everything she's done to establish the culture of the Mando'ade during the Clone Wars in the dust bin. Emperor Claudius Rome Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I was wright! Those guys are Deathwatch!!! Quote
Corvus Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I was wright! Those guys are Deathwatch!!! Nah. As far as I know the Death Watch died before the clone wars, when Jaster Mereel was leading the Mandos. But what do I know? All I know of Mandalorians has all gone up in a puff of smoke. Quote

Maybe they're Neo Deathwatch, like the Neo Crusaders? Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) Why would they be two different classes of Manos at the same time? I fail to see the pacifism, and I highly doubt that a race of men based off of a warrior species would for any reason become pacifist. I was fairly certain that most of the Mandos had died in the Sith War/ Jedi Civil War/ Mandolorian Wars. I always thought Jango and Boba were the only Mandos alive during the Clone Wars, but the Republic Commando books said that most of the Mandos trained the Clones and were all marked as dead. Now there are more? But what do I know? All I know of Mandalorians has all gone up in a puff of smoke -You know the music, lets dance. Edited September 20, 2009 by Mraz 'Skintas Quote
DarthSion Posted September 20, 2009 Author Posted September 20, 2009 Huh, you mean other than like the Roman Empire which has no become a neutral country, and how religions have spilt from other ones, or how about how some Muslims think killing people gets them a bunch of virgins, and some think that isn't true. It has happened in real life, why not have it in a TV show. Or how about we wait and find out its only 2 weeks away from starting. Quote
Raphy Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Gah, eight days to go . . . . Do you think they'll appear on www.watchtheclonewars.com days after? Quote
Captain REX Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Any notation of when it comes out in the UK? Quote
DarthSion Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 Well if you look at this, it started 3.10.08 in the USA, it started 25.10.08 in the UK, so as it is back in the USA 2.10.09, one would assume it would be back in the UK 24.10.09 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clone_Wars_%2...GI_TV_series%29 Quote
Captain REX Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Well i just checked my sky planner andits not on next week, when it preimeres in the USA. So it looks like we will be behind them again, as usual . Hopefully we'll have caught up with them by the mid-season break, as we did last season. Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Anybody know if this will be showing anytime soon in South Korea? -You know the music, time to dance. Quote
Forresto Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Anybody know if this will be showing anytime soon in South Korea?-You know the music, time to dance. this site might have them later on but besides that I can't help . www.watchtheclonewars.com . Anyways I wacthed a marathon of Clone Wars today and they've been showing bios on the new bounty hunters and sneek peeks here and there. They showed a Mando one and it looks like there might be more then just the four mandos. They also showed the battle on the geonosis like planet and it shows a battle very much like the battle of geonosis except eith a lot less soldiers. Quote
DarthSion Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 This will no doubt explain the Mando's and end the constant discussion. As the Clone Wars dragged on, the emergence of the Mandalorian Protectors only added to the causes behind the growing number of casualties among the Grand Army of the Republic. For this reason, and the fact that an Advanced Recon Commando went rogue, because of his Mandalorian heritage in the first place, the clones began to despise anything Mandalorian, especially clones who still embraced the Mandalorian culture. This can be seen when the 2nd Airborne Company, after being dealt high casualties by the Mandalorian Protectors, showed their obvious contempt for Omega Squad, a unit of clone commandos that were deeply devoted to their Mandalorian roots. Ultimately, the loyalty of the standard-issued clones fell to the Galactic Republic without question, and since the Mandalorians had declared war for the Confederacy of Independent Systems, than heritage or no heritage, Mandalorians were now viewed by the clones as enemies of the Republic. And to a clone trooper - all enemies of the Republic were to be eliminated. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Republic_Commandos Quote
