DarthSion Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 Yeah was a horrible episode, who was the voice of the stupid cop, i know that from some where. Quote
General Magma Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 *snip*BTW, He is like Jar Jar, only twelve times worse. What the heck, I wish I didn't see that, that's horrible! @Jammiedodger: In what episode was that shown? Did they discuss the armor, or something like that? I still have to watch many season 2 episodes, and I'm going to wait 'till they air here on TV, in The Netherlands. Anything known about whether they will show up here or not? ~ General Magma Quote
-JD- Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 @Jammiedodger: In what episode was that shown? Did they discuss the armor, or something like that? Senate Murders, but appeared only in a hologram. Maybe it is to do with the expansion of the Clone army? Quote
Oky Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Interesting... So could they be making the switch to Phase 2 already? Despite all your warnings, I will still watch the episode, just to make my own opinion about it. Thanks letting us know, though. Quote

Funny how your complaining about the political asspect, even though a LOT of the Prequels was political. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Well, I watched the episode, and yeah, it wasn't very good. Still, I'm not sure I agree with the criticism of it that I've read hear. Some say it was not Star Wars-y. Well, what is Star Wars-y? Does it have to be Jedi or Clones or a lot of running around? This reminded me somewhat of the deleted scenes on EpIII with Padme and the others talking about their feelings on the war. It's nice to see the senators actually do something, and that there's a police force on Coruscant. Other criticism has been that it was boring and obvious. Yes, I agree with that, but I still don't find this more boring and obvious then a whole bunch of other Episodes. The episode with Ahsoka chasing around that bad lady through Coruscant? Totally boring and obvious. For myself, I have to accept that at least a third if not more like a half of the episodes are going to be extremely boring and obvious. I will agree that the inspector sucked big time. Maybe the kiddies will like him, but he was just so awful that I kind of thought he was the bad guy along with the Rodian. I like Jar Jar, but this guy was an extremely low dip. And then there's the everlasting problem of some of the characters rendered so despicably ugly. I thought Mon Mothma looked good, actually, but Padme is always so horrendous to watch, and that Kaminoan senator was so much worse than necessary. The Kaminoans in EpII are weird looking, but they're not that ugly. And what's with the creators' obsession with old people with canes? Why did she have to be such an old hag? She could've been upright and good-enough looking, and still give off an evil presence and be counter to the "good guys'" wishes. The ugly art is an ongoing problem that I don't think will ever be fixed, since someone must like it that way. Quote
RileyC Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Its cool how they are phasing in the phase II troops into the episodes. Im glad they are doing this so they werent just switching from phase I in just an episode. Good work Dave and George! So maybe the Lego Swamp Speeder might make sense soon? Quote
Corvus Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 The ugly art is an ongoing problem that I don't think will ever be fixed, since someone must like it that way. This, along with dialogue, is my main concern. Has anyone else caught that someone fixed the clone's armor for an episode or so? I want to say that it was in Children of the Force. Anyway, someone decided to actually be realistic and 'unattached' the clone armor's elbow and knee guards? Unfortunately, someone changed it back the next episode. I was hoping that the phase II clones would fix these problems... but no, don't think so. I have yet to see the helmet, however. However, I did like the elite version of the Senate Commandos, with the shoulder capes and the head plumes... similar to the ones we've seen in the movies, but more dangerous. Quote

That Clone armor is really weird the way it "locks together. Especially on the Jedi, where it looks like Obi-Wan is going to poke somebody. Quote
FilmGirl27 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Tan Divo? Who is he meant to be? And why does he look so...weird and ugly?? I'm put off this episode. Quote
sok117 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Yeah was a horrible episode, who was the voice of the stupid cop, i know that from some where. Thats Tom Kenny from Sponge Bob Quote
Corvus Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 While I wasn't particularly impressed with the episode, it wasn't quite as bad as you lot led me to believe. While the guy was weird looking, he was kind of funny to laught at for his routine-ness. (Oh great, another report...) One nitpick, though: If the Kaminoans were going to have a senator, wouldn't they pick one a little more... graceful? While the senator they used provided a great example of corporate interests, I think it would have good to have created a better visual distractor to have one of those graceful, soft-spoken Kaminoans we see in Ep. II calmly, gracefully talking about just how much they need more clones to be produced. Quote
Oky Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) I completely agree with you, Mr. Mandalorian! It was definitely below average, but I didn't think it was as everyone says, and not all that predictable either. Tan Divo, while being a little annoying and weird looking, was kind of funny. Tom Kenny was a good choice I think. I guess it's because we went in with low expectations. And yes, that Kaminoan Senator was quite a contrast to what we've seen of Kaminoans until now, and yes, she does not seem like the best representation of the Kaminoan race. But then again, this is what made it easy to believe she could have been the murder . Besides, it would be pretty naive to think that all Kaminoans are calm and graceful, especially in old age, and this proves they are not. Next episode looks better. Let's hope it is. sok117 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 The next episode was amazing, It totally made up for the last episode (which IMO was a lot to accomplish) The ship wasn't that cool but I liked General Trench, and The whole submarine aspect to it was pretty sweet. all in all a great episode. Though my one nitpick was that the enemy ship didn't fire back when the submarine ship was about to fling the homing missiles into the bridge. Great job on the episode Lucasfilm. Quote
Mr Meleca Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 sorry friends, I have to say something about this Ep 15. Actually I have 2 "hobbies": lego and star wars, but I think that I am loosing the last. The first season of CW, I think it was for younger public, so they have my tolerance extended. In the second season, I heard that the "episodes now are more serious!" from the producers. It was going well, exception for the intense presence of Ahsoka. But this Ep. was a shame. Senators with guns in hand, acting like cops is ridiculous. Padme shoud be restricted to shows the senate consequences of the war, and not be the senate´s Xeriff. The good side of this serie is that the licence of LSW will be extend. Sorry again and sorry for my english SCOOBY-DOO IS BETTER THAN THIS EPISODE 15!!!! Quote
prateek Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Thats Tom Kenny from Sponge Bob Even though I didn't watch the episode, I laugh just at the thought of Tom Kenny voicing for SW Quote
Inconspicuous Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 The episode was definitely below-average. I didn't particularly care for the plot itself, because the whole "He looks creepy, so he's the murderer. Oh wait, he isn't, it's that other guy no one suspected!" gets kind of old. I wasn't as bothered about the creepy Tom Kenny-voiced man as some of you guys were. I saw him as comic interlude or even a parody of government work, with all those reports. But hey, at least we have another use for that Onocanda Farr minifig! Quote
Oky Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 (edited) SCOOBY-DOO IS BETTER THAN THIS EPISODE 15!!!! Woah! Now those are some harsh words there, buddy! But hey, at least we have another use for that Onocanda Farr minifig! LOL! I was thinking the exact same thing while watching that scene! Might be an interesting scene to moc some day, especially if you have enough Senate Commandos, but considering that the moc would represent such an unpopular episode, it's like "meh, why bother." Speaking of the SCs, they looked much better with capes. Edited March 23, 2010 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
Corvus Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Speaking of the SCs, they looked much better with capes. They do... as soon as Cad Bane's speeder comes out, I'll be getting some of the guard robes from MMCB... as soon as they open. I saw the preview for the new episode, and I have to say, I'm liking the animation in it. Some episodes just seem to have that almost cinematic quality in them, and I definately got that feeling during the space battle. I'm glad that the animators finally decided to make missiles more realistic, rather than those bits of slow-moving colored light that we saw in previous episodes. The shield effect was also really great. However, I'm not too fond of that spider guy... he seems a little rediculous. Quote
The Legonater Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 SCOOBY-DOO IS BETTER THAN THIS EPISODE 15!!!! Duh, Scooby-Doo is better than everyone. LOL! But then again, this is what made it easy to believe she could have been the murder . Besides, it would be pretty naive to think that all Kaminoans are calm and graceful, especially in old age, and this proves they are not. As does the Republic Commado series. Anyone else read that? It's incredible. Quote
djmangunz Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Next weeks episode looks like pure win. For three reasons: 1 the pre-TIE fighter pilot character. I would watch the show alone to see that helmet again. 2 A cloaked ship, which is money. 3 Action. I am sick all the slow episodes. Quote
DarthSion Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 The cloak ship aired in the UK it was ok but not that good, although i did like the spider leader. Also its official BOBA FETT will be in an episode. http://au.tv.ign.com/articles/107/1079891p1.html Quote
The Legonater Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Apparently, the one after today's will have Onaka again. Quote
