Hi there,

This little MOC started as MOD of set 8398, but then I decided to use the bicycle wheels... that's when things turned out to be more complicated than I thought

Thank you for looking :classic:

 Really funny! And lovely hot dog stand, I really like how you MODed the 8398 with that bycicle wheels

Awesome hot dog stand, and a great scene! One question: how did you get the bicycle wheels off the bike? :look: Every time I try to take mine off, I almost break my bike, so I end up leaving it as it is. :sceptic:

Great MOC! I like the SNOT on the cart, and I never knew that bike wheels can fit in those holes in the 1x1 clip.

Thank's :classic:

The bicycle wheels are a little tricky to take out, especialy the rear wheel, but I knew it was possible because I had seen them in MOCs before

I used the tip of a scissor to force a little the sides where the wheel is fixed. But like I said the rear wheel was hard and I was afraid to break the bicycle frame.

If you have 2 bicycles is easier to use the front wheels only

Thank you.

I saw it here (thank's Mijasper  )

But I found out they also fit in this piece

Rupi: I love it! This should be an official set. Very clever creation. I love that custom hot dog stand with excellent sticker. The scene is perfect.

Blogged!

The first pic makes a wonderful vignette!

And great use of buidling techniques!

ahah wonderful vignette^^ I love it! The stand is awesome^^

In the upcoming summer sets, the bicycle wheels are listed as separate parts from the frame in the inventory and the instructions ask you to assemble the complete bike - kind of like how the 2x2 turntable plate used to come assembled but now comes as 2 pieces. The back box art for 7641 City Corner shows the bicycle repair man with a wheel off and even peeling away the black rubber tire!

Maybe TLG has 'adjusted' the mould to make the tires come off and on again more easily for increased playability.

Really?

This is a good thing, they probably adjusted the bicycle mould so the wheels are easier to assemble.

Awesome MOC, and a lovely little wordplay... I really love this vig :]

Outstanding vignette rupi!

I love the design of the hotdog machine, and the dogs chasing it are hilarious. Great idea with the bush in the background used like that too, I've never seen that before, so kudos!

Batbrick Away!

Good job on this MOC! I especially like the scenery and how you put the wheels on the BBQ stand. I also like how you didn't fully put on the tiles, making the road look bumpy, even if it was done unintentionally. :classic:

EDIT: Also, that's a nice use of SNOT for the BBQ.
