Read about it. The game itself doesn't really look like Lego so I'm not sure how it will turn out. Could be interesting though

Here's some screen shots of it.

My last post, yeah, I was trying to give the game the benefit of the doubt, don't pay any attention to that, this game looks horrible. "Never judge a book by it's cover." But I just looked inside the "cover" and saw those screen shots. It's disgraceful. :sadnew: The game had potential, but they ruined it. :cry_sad:

I thought this was coming out on other platforms as well, wasn't it? I remember some time ago a picture of a Mars Mission mech being driven by a SP3 Alien, in the style of TT video games. Typically the DS is completely different to other platforms, so there is still hope! :classic:

Natman 8000 yes it is a stratagy game and yes it does look awful

Actually this look's alright , Not that I'd buy it though .

The maps look good for a DS game and the overal set up is kinda nice but their doesn't seem to be many units.

Will their be recource gathering?

No they don't! Have you ever even played DS?

This game looks much more like a cheap Flash-game or something produced in the early 90's than a game for the current generation of portable consoles. I mean, graphics don't mean that much to me in videogames, but I do expect at least some level of quality.

TLG has proven they can make much better games with their console game series (LEGO Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones), so I can hardly believe they would spit out something rubbish like this... :oh:

I just hope all this stretching into more games doesn't risk the good stuff (i.e. The sets) leading into another aweful liscence which will consume a large percentage of the fandom.

After all there was Alpha Team (multi platform) Rock Raiders (PC and Playstation) all the many Island titles and quite a few PC only games besides that out and Lego started posting lossess and people were worried that they were going to be bought out and stripped of all we love.

Unless its only TT who are churning these out with Lego just taking a percentage of the profits.

Ho hum. I am rubbish at strategy games (Advance Wars: Dark Conflict is all I own and I keep getting stuck :hmpf_bad: ) so I will be giving it a miss.

Hmmmm. I was really excited to hear about this game, and I need to reserve judgement until after seeing the playing in action, but it doesn't look all that good...

I don't think anyone should judge this game just yet. This is coming out on multiple platforms isn't it? If so DS games are usually horrible compared to the other platforms. And if not well still the DS isn't really known for it's graphics it known for it's portability, and by the looks of this I'll have my lego fix anywhere :P

From everything I've read so far it's being released on June 9th for the NDS and that's it. So this is the best it's gonna get. I'll take a closer look when it comes out but it kinda loses some

of that Lego charm when it's made that small.

Wow. This looks really stupid. Lego could do so much better. With the great Lego games that have come out recently, this is really a step backwards. It could be so much better.

Considering the graphics of this game, I hope they're not taking a percentage of the losses aswell

The screen shots don't look too good, but the cover looks great! It really does not look like lego. But the graphics on the DS aren't great. So I am interested on how actually good it will be.

Their obvious mistake was in letting a studio besides TT create this game. This may sell some copies since it's a LEGO game, but I have a feeling it won't be anywhere NEAR the amazing success of the other LEGO games.

 Hmm.. It reminds me Warcraft2! Big characters, small houses!

Maybe it's not using potential of DS, But this can be interesting...

But Wait a second! If this is the game for DS...

Man, all those cutscene screenshots look so great! Why, oh why do the gameplay screenshots have to look so bad! :cry_sad: I really hope there will be a PC version with good graphics.

That pic of Kranxx hijacking the Mars Mining Mech is awesome!
