Again, this is a game based on a cartoon, so naturally the graphics are gonna be cartoony! How could you expect TFU quality visuals from this? And are graphics really all that important? IMHO, I don't care how crappy the visiuals are as long as it's an enjoyable game.

I need to disagree with you on this one Oky Wan Kenobi . Even if it is a cartoony game I think all in it could look better. Just take for example games like Super Mario Galaxy or Ratchet and Clank : Tools of Destruction, both are "cartoony" games but they look great becuase of the sharp textures and the well animated actions of the character but in this game both things are missing . Finally, I need to agree with you that meanwhile a game is entertaining graphics are not everything but personally I think that the designers could have done a better job with this one.

Yes, but they are not based on a TV show which uses low-quality textures for production's sake. If you look at any other game based on a TV cartoon, you'll see that the graphics are equally bad (or even worse).

And I don't think that the characters in this game aren't well animated. They move quite smoothly and just like their TV show counterparts IMO

Besides, isn't it a bit too early to judge the game on it's animation? The only footage we have seen is only a few secouds long.

Someone point out prelim/early pictures clips are never as good as the end product.

More info, yes again i was right, it follows on season 1 and focuses on Cad and another new villain, sadly 2 player doesn't seem as good as i thought.

There are more than 30 missions in all, and the two-player co-op mode will also let players compete against each other in a series of challenges available mid-level.

It will focus on the bounty hunter Cad Bane and a new Skakoan supervillain named Kul Teska.

Anakin's Padawan Ahsoka Tano has been confirmed as a playable character along with Commander Cody and Captain Rex.

I'm getting this, but meh, it really hasn't sucked me in like TFU, i mean the clip on the official LA site when it was first announced and starkiller pulled down the ISD was the best thing i have ever seen.

Thats a bad thing though. Jedi alliance was quite frankly terrible. there was only nine levels(which were far too short), there werent enough enemys to fight and The boss fights sucked (most of them you didnt even get them down to half their health). The only thing that was good about it was that you could choose your own team of jedi for each mission, but one mission you play as r2 and 3po for the whole level. I completely regret buying it.

Wow! The new trailer looks epic! Makes the game look much better than before! And I already thought it looked pretty good to begin with. Can't wait for this to come out (and drop in price)!

No official word, but i believe this Thursday or the following week will see a demo of this, as this Thursday is 4 weeks till release date, and they released a demo of TFU about a month before hand, i am leaning to this Thursday as the following is 3.9 which is when they are supposed to release FW 3.00 for PS3, but should be one before the 4th.

I'm not particularly looking forward to this game although the trailers on the site look all right. Did anyone else try out the augmented reality web cam briefing message from Obi-Wan? I hope they produce more 'interactive' content like this.

I've seen the preview on youtube for the 360 version, it will be badass.

Remember, all you need to do is have a USA PSN, I am an Aussie with an Aussie PS3, and I have downloaded USA PSN demo's, all you need to do is make a new account and use any address, most people use M$ or google.

Interesting the turtles in time demo is the same size.

Well just tried the demo, still not overly impressed, if you haven't ever played, or haven't played in a while TFU then this might be good for you, personally as I have been playing TFU allot since Tatooine, I find this game to be extremely lacking, sure there is some cool moves and stuff, but after TFU this really doesn't feel like it belongs on the PS3, really feels like a kids game and should be on the wii.

The graphics really aren't that impressive, having /\ for push and then also for things like trying to grab the hyena droids leg was a poor choice, Anakin felt so weak, the clones felt ok.

You get 2 small levels to play on, one as a Clone the other as Anakin, the clones have unlimited ammo, some grenades, can pick up a RPG, there is an element likened to some of the gadgets used by Insomniacs ratchet and clank series with opening the escape pods.

Anakin as I said felt weak, and really doesn't have many moves, has a short push or held push, some saber attacks, a cool whip around if you hold block and attack.

Very much a kids game, or part timers, but offers next to nothing for hard core gamers like myself, certainly easy for kids and part timers in regards to controls very limited button combinations to use, I found only one, mostly button mashing, add the fact you get "god mode" power ups, and less than half the what 14 PS3 buttons in use it really does feel very simple and easy.

I will still probably get it, just to see what happens.

BTW playing this demo signs you out of PSN so you cant download.

Also a reminder, this is NOT out in two weeks, it has been pushed back two weeks, currently slated for 6.10 in the USA, 7.10 AU, forget when in the EU, but im sure by the 8th.
