April 26, 200915 yr That's fun to look at. The water is really well done, nice and smooth yet with some great texture. I love the idea behind the MOC, very entertaining.
April 26, 200915 yr This is perhaps even more original than that roller coaster you made. The water is the best part, but the rock formations are also really cool.
April 26, 200915 yr Yet again an awesome creation SlyOwl! Great work. The whole scene is very hilarious and cool to look at. The landscaping is awesome, it seems to be you are the master in it. The snow/water is a thing I haven't seen before, it is awesome. The fences are great too. The whole idea is nice as well and it contains some funny aspects. Great work SlyOwl!
April 26, 200915 yr I just saw it on flickr, that's an awesome scene again Slyowl, I m really impressed it looks very very well, I love the milky river^^ Edited April 26, 200915 yr by Guss
April 27, 200915 yr Hilarious scene, the landscaping and the river being that wild really make it come to life. Very creative!
April 27, 200915 yr Very nice SlyOwl, somebody certainly has too many of those white sloping pieces. A very unique idea and well executed, it flows really well. I really love those cliffs, they look fantastic!
April 27, 200915 yr Funny MOC! I really like how you did the water with all those white pieces, it gives to the work an impression of true life, and of course the display of MFs is, as allways in your MOCs is wonderful You did it again, mr. SlyOwl
April 29, 200915 yr Awesome stuff SlyOwl, you rarely disappoint. Love the little baskets with men in them going down the slope, and the mountain construction is terrific. I just think it needs another colour in the water to mix it up a bit, it looks a bit too much like ice cream to me right now. But overall fantastical stuff. Batbrick Away!
May 2, 200915 yr wow, sly! you're like a MOC factory! I think you could add a few blue or trans-blue slopes (if they have them), but your water technique is great!
May 2, 200915 yr Author Thanks guys! No dwarven riders though? They can't sit down, and thus their arms do not stay inside the carriage at all times Do you ever stop to breathe between MOC's? It generally helps, yes. But I'm having a bit of a break now, as there's no pressing contests. Well, the water is very, very good. Maybe a little touch of blue? I just think it needs another colour in the water to mix it up a bit, it looks a bit too much like ice cream to me right now. I tried with blue hints, but it ended up looking like blueberry yoghurt And trans hints only made it look more like snow/ice. I also couldn't be bothered to work out where to put the blue to make it look better
May 3, 200915 yr You know what I find funny? The tactical differences between the humans and orcs. While the humans use tools, or in #3's case, a steel pot, to get ahead of the competition, the orcs aren't afraid to just eliminate the competition altogether. Nice touch. I like the water too, but I think it would help if there was some trans-blue pieces mixed in a few places there. Right now it looks to me that they're riding a stream of milk. May 3, 200915 yr That's the roughest water i've ever seen! I really wouldn't want to go down that in a barrel... Great MOC!
May 21, 200915 yr That is really cool. I have always liked the way you do landscapes and rocky hills, etc. I'd love to see a picture of what your mocs look like from the back. The whitewater is amazing.....I will be stealing that in the future. Really great MOC
May 22, 200915 yr Author Thanks all! That is really cool. I have always liked the way you do landscapes and rocky hills, etc. I'd love to see a picture of what your mocs look like from the back. Normally it's just a black or grey wall, so nothing special Inside it's a bird's nest of technic beams and 1x2x5 bricks e.t.c. for support, though...
May 22, 200915 yr Everything looks perfect accept for the guy in the steel pot, I think he would most likely sink. I would suggest replacing it with a wooden barrel. The water looks great by the way, so does the design of the mountain. Good Job as usual SlyOwl
