Millacol88 Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Alright... I'll just knock on anorexic people then....WHAT? What? Who said that? Did I hear something? EDIT: Why do I always put the thumbup sign when I wanna hit the tongue button? ...Damnit.... ...damnit... ...There we go. Quote
AND3RSEN Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 HaHa. yeah i've been saving for the at-ot and dropship since it came out. i actually yelled at my friend when he put his change into a charity jar at mcdonalds. got it last week though, and currently find it totally worth the money. Quote
UserNameInvalid Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Usually after shopping in the Mall I grab a snack there: sushi, pizza, burger & fries and drink, or so. But after overspending -again- at the LEGO store I don't have that snack and drive home with a shrivelled stommach. Then at home I quickly raid the fridge, wash hands and start building. Depending on the amount I have spent I will have cheaper food in the following days. Quote
Thee Pirate Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 lol, sort of.. I finally splurged and bought 10179 ME.. but I only justified it because it's on sale.. also, now it'll be another month before I buy a washer and dryer, but the laundrymat is sort of on the way home from work Quote
Eilif Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 This will be the second year that I will save up a wad of cash for the Brickworld convention. Being able to get some Brickforge and Brickarms sets, a ME models car and some other random stuff is great, but the big fiancial purcahse is the late night Brickworld-only sale at the LEGO store. Last year I put asside 400 bucks specifically for this from side jobs, and this year it will be a bit less. I'm going a couple months buying almost no LEGO for myself to prepare. Here's what I got at last year's half off sale. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...st&p=318577 Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 My splurge will be later this week, four large Agents sets that i promised myself if i completed my assignments on time. Then nothing too big (apart from at a discount) until the summer. Quote
legoblockman Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 well, i will be going to england in july and i will be visiting the lego shop in milton keynes there (we don't have any lego shops here in ireland) so i have been saving to buy the lego death star 10188. i actually saved up a bit to much, it costs £270 and i saved up £450! i will probaby spend it on the new sets. thats quite a lot of money for me as i am only 12 Quote
