Another great review svelte_corps, I love all the great pics you post!

This is a must have Indy set, I just hope the "Fez" :sceptic: will show up on as a part at the Lego online store at some point.

I'm looking for suit parts, and so was largely considering buying this set, and I can tell you that you've just pushed me far enough to go ahead and buy it! Thanks for the great review, my friend! Can't wait to get one of my own!

First off, fantastic review (as usual). Very comprehensive and entertaining to read. It is much appreciated that you take the time to provide these reviews.

I just received this set and have been very pleased with it overall. I've got to admit that I'm not a big fan of the fez. I loved the idea and the color, but the execution leaves much to be desired. Primarily, I wish they hadn't put a stud on top and instead left it flat. With the stud, it makes poor Kasim and his fellow Brother of the Cruciform Sword look like they're smuggling grails in their hats or hiding their cone-heads. I understand why the LEGO Group choose to include a stud for future sets and decorative uses, but as with most mini-fig headgear, I would have much preferred a true fez hat for our villains.

Excellent Review. I love the coments about Kazim's muchstache. You wouldn't wanna mess with a stache like that.

Anyway, this was my big 2009 most anticpated set(becides Fighter Plane Attack), and it met my standards. New Indy, ALL NEW Elsa, Kazim, and the Brotherhood member minifigs were the biggest highlights to me. The Fez and the Tommy Gun are also excellent parts, but since the gun comes in a smaller set, the big part-selling point is the fez.

The dock and boats look excellent as well. I'm not sure how I'm going to intergrate the docks into my town yet, but I see the boats being used for action scenes.

I can attest to the greatness of this set! :pir-cry_happy: As I write this, I am holding Kazim's boat, just looking at it and splitting it in half. I swear it never gets old. If you don't go out and get this, you should be shunned for life! :pir-wink::pir-grin:

This set is awesome, I love the parts too, that windscreen is excellent.

Impecable review as well, so many pictures, this deserves a reviews academy seal.

Awesome review!! Putting in cut scenes from the movie is a great idea. I don't collect Indy, but am seriously thinking about starting having seen this.

[steely Dan] Ain't never gonna do it without the fez on [/steely Dan] Anyone know what I mean?? Am I too old???

A great set and a great review

I can see what you mean when you say that the evil guys hats are useful. I wish I could put it on a monkey for some of my pirate MOC's

I'll probabley buy the set some time this fall.

I'm annoyed to say I still haven;t got this set. I'm hoping to get it for Christmas as I'm already spending far too much money on DVDs. It's definitely a must-get for me still though, those suits and Elsa will be extremely useful for my Batman creations.

I've been looking at my Kazim figure, and I have a question, Is the line under his mustache his mouth, or his chin? I used to think it was his chin and his mouth was covered by the mustache, but now I think it might be the mouth. Does anyone have any input on the situation?

I used to have the same problem with that City construction worker. I'm pretty sure his mouth is hidden under the moustache.
