Posted April 28, 200915 yr Adam and Jamie in lego. I got this idea after seeing that they were going to test the lego ball youtube video. . Jamie's hat was hard to find, but I ended up using the black cap from the engineer on the Emerald Night (that set has come in very handy).
April 28, 200915 yr Great work on Adam and Jamie. Mythbusters is one of my favorite TV shows. Too bad there's no LEGO beret...
April 28, 200915 yr Too bad there's no LEGO beret... Actually, there's this keychain, so you'd just have to take it apart.
April 28, 200915 yr Haha! Very good! I was thinking about making Adam & Jamie figs myself, but I just couldn't get together a good Adam. You should totally send that picture to them! I'm sure they'll love it, and who knows, maybe they'll even show it on the show!
May 2, 200915 yr Actually, there's this keychain, so you'd just have to take it apart. umm, i dont think thats a barret
May 2, 200915 yr umm, i dont think thats a barret You're right, I think it might be called a forage cap. Either way, have you priced that keychain? quite an investment just for a cap!
May 3, 200915 yr Very nice figures, spot-on resemblance. And thanks for reminding me to watch the video showing the conclusion of that lego ball experiment.
August 3, 200915 yr Wow! Your Adam is spot-on! Jamie needs some work, though. I don't mind the hat, but he just doesn't look quite right without his white shirt. I'm not trying to imply that you aren't amazing at this, because you are. If you're up for a challenge (or just have nothing better to do), I'd like to see how you do Kari, Grant, and Tory. Great job!
August 4, 200915 yr You're right, I think it might be called a forage cap. Either way, have you priced that keychain? quite an investment just for a cap! Actually, the one Jamie is wearing in this custom is a forage cap! They were worn durring the civil war and are kind of similar to a collapsed shako. Also, that keychain is expensive because it is very old and was a LEGOLAND ambassador exclusive. I don't understand how people thing that looks like a beret, berets are more flat. If you painted it white, it might look like a factory hat. (or for those of you on the west coast, an In-n-Out hat! mmmmm... ) Anyway, great customs, I think you should make a sculptey beret, namely because it is the most easily scuptable I can think of. The dynamite and wrench are perfect! They represent the show quite well .
