DoubleT Posted August 16, 2004 Author Posted August 16, 2004 Handball is where you use your hands not your feet :) They throw the ball around, like American "Fott"ball. Quote
David85 Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 Ohh, so it's one of those lame sports that shouldn't be in Olimpics? I thought it was they have that really heavy ball and spin around and throw it. Quote

David85 Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 Nope its an very good sport :)Lots of action, and goals. Just as good as Both European and American Fottball :) See it and you will like it :) Hahahaha I HATE soccer (aka your football) and I'm from a crazy soccer freak town. And I can't stand USA football. "Look it me! I play 16 games a season and get paid 25 million dollars. -Some football player. It's not a real sport when High schooler play more games than you. And people say baseball (162 games) players get paid too much. Quote
Jipay Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 Well handball is a real sport. It is one of those sport that is played by more than one country (USA for soccer, oh yes I forgot, there some teams from south america). You can't beat european football champions that can win up to 100 millions$ a year (n) (for playing the ball like a dog) Quote

J1A3L5 Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Here we have something played, but probably not officially called 'European Handball' which has similar rules to Basketball and Soccer. (Our Soccer, where you use your feet) There's upright nets like Hockey I believe, but you can either throw the ball or "dribble" it with your hands as in Basketball. I'm not sure if you're allowed to use your feet - I think you can as long as it isn't kicking it a distance. Quote
Jipay Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 I'm pretty sure that goalkeeper are allowed to use their feets Quote
