May 7, 200915 yr I think I like the midi-scale version better than the rest because of the 'swooshability' that comes in the box with it. I like the UCS too but it is too big and too expensive for me to ever hope to buy (maybe in 10 years though )
May 7, 200915 yr I sold my 7190 after getting the 4504 to make money for buying more SW sets. A mix off both would be best I guess. The 4504 looks great but is too fragile while the 7190 has the hidden compartment and other playable features lacking in the 4504. Since the 4504 is just standing I'll keep it at that. Oh and my UCS just for the joy off looking at seach a beast.
May 7, 200915 yr The 7190 should really be out of the question. It is the oldest and least detailed of all of them. As for the rest, it depends on what you want it for. If you want playability, get 4504. If you have a huge space and want a big USC model, get the 10179. If you still want a model but have limited space, get the Mid-Scale one. I had the 4504, and it was a great set to play with. The interior was easily accessible and had a lot of detail on the inside and out.
June 2, 200915 yr If I had all of the necessary resources to obtain these sets, I'd probably go for the UCS, simply because it is most detailed and intimidating, or majestic. Those are qualities I like. If 10179 was out of the question for some reason (I wonder what that could be) I'd get 4504 - minifig scale, very playable (I love the roof function) and well designed ("ribcage" design). Unfortunately neither of those are available, so this year I look forward to purchasing the Midi-Scaled Falcon. It seems nice.
June 2, 200915 yr That's a great and very interesting topic, mustaine32! I of course prefer 4504 since this is imo the best version TLG has been releasing until now! 7190 This versions was nice, too, but included nearly no interior. 7778 This version is imo useless since it does not fit for minifigs - you can only use it as standalone. 10179 This version is imo useless, too, and even usury since it is totally overdetailed but has nevertheless no interior plus its price is utopian. June 3, 200915 yr My favorite is 7190. It looks very realistic, it has some great figures but it could have had a better interior, just like Klaus-Dieter said.
