Hello all! I have begun work on a HUGE ship on LDD. It will have 3 masts, 2 decks, and over 30 guns. I am not sure if I will build this in real life (I can't afford it) but I will try to build it on LDD

May I recommend to use coloured stripes on the hull between the gundecks instead of plain black?

time for another update!

here, I finished the bow. I tried a lower bow, just for the heck of it, and it turned out great!

AND I added railings (God bless Captian Caravino, railings are so damn hard!)

In LDD you can only choose, Red, Black, White, Tan slopes. No Gold, Thats why its hard for me to visual my LDD HMS Unicorn.

Looks very good, I especially like the view from the front, that looks perfect. Maybe you can make the ship a bit longer, it's quite short and high now, but you decide. I like it

Nice ship Admiral! I love the stern!

A suggestion though:

I would add a brown stripe through the thick black line to break the plain colour and to add a border between the gundecks.

the masts are currently made of 2x2 cylinders, i suppose?

On blackmoor's comment: yes, that is what I wanted to do, but removing half the ship is impossible. so I can't unless I really wanted to rebuild the ship from the midline up (and I don't). I agree that it would look better, but I just can't.

On Commander's comment: no, they are made out of 2x2x3 pillars, they are just there to show where the masts will go.

The HMS Colossus shall go through a MAJOR upgrade. With a more realistic stern and SNOT sides, she'll be more affordable and more realistic. Wish me luck on the giant new project to 100% improve my ship

sorry, no donations - spent allready to much this month...

but this looks amazing and HUGE. and expensive. evertime i'm here around in the pirates section i get more and more torn apart. lego star wars is great - but pirates is really nice too...

Thanks! I began to rebuild the hull and the bow, but then I had to completely redesign it. So HMS Colossus shall remain as is, and my current project is the HMS Conquest.
