If you like the heavier stuff I suggest you check out the seespotrock tour. It is almost over but it looks to be good. I am going to try and go in Dec.

Been here and gone. I think they were here in Tulsa... three weeks ago? Somesuch thing. I do like some heavier stuff, but I draw the line at screamo, and flat out heavy metal. No. And the See Spot Rock tour this year didn't have the punch the last few years have had. The bands this year were almost unknowns, and they didn't have the range of musical stylings found in the first three years. And Pillar was there, again. Pillar, I think, has decided to make it their headline tour. lol. That's alright, I love Pillar. Have to support the hometeam. Yeah I run into the Pillar guys at Wal*Mart. Whoo!

NB Yeah is strange mixing P.E with good ol' LED - that's life!! |-D

Arw man! I forgot the Dead Kennedys

It'll have to replace my number 3 - perhaps I should create a poll on whether to change my number 3 or not???? I'm so confused ;)

1. Metallica-pre-black album

2. Metallica-post black album

3. Billy Joel

4. The Beatles

the music is different and therefore should be considered two different bands

Interesting choices thus far...

As for me, it's;

1) Pearl Jam You either love them, or you hate them (one of the best live acts, PERIOD)!! There is no middle ground.

2) U2 Strong stage presence despite the stale set-list. Crowds are often less than enthusiastic at live shows.

3) DMB Another great live act. Like Pearl Jam, they have amazing fan support (ironically, liking Pearl Jam & DMB is tantamount to hypocrisy).

Currently listening to The Arcade Fire. Totally wild and incredible to see live.

As you can guess, for me a band is judged both by the music and by their live performances.

Later.

okay this is off topic, but i was using the sloganizer thing, and heres the first thing it came up with: "crispen on the outside, tasty on the inside!"

i mean, thats just horrible!

There has been a thread about what song you're listening to and what CD's you have in your possesion, but this is the new 'What's your Top 3 of all bands?'.

1) Rammstein

2) Cradle of Filth

3) Dimmu Borgir

I'll reform my Top:

1)Metallica (Master Of Puppets is my favourite song of theirs)

2)Rammstein (Das Alte Leid is my Rammstein favourite)

3) Dimmu Borgir (Tormentor Of Christian Souls is one of my favourites)

Other good bands:

Cradle Of Filth, Slipknot, KoRn, Moonspell, Ill Nino, Marilyn Mason, etc.
