Evil Willy Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Now that Lord Khorne has secured Belgium you can relocate some of your ships. Moving some towards the direction of Britain would be advisable, but keep your distance, but don't look like you're trying to keep your distance... Aye! Confusing at first..But correct. I think I hear a noise here in the forest...Not much but I think I can make out a figure of a human up ahead!
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 17, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 17, 2006 Becareful Willy, you could be lured into an ambush... Remember that Lord Viking has the tactical advantage has he has lured you into his terriritory. If I was going in I would have send a dog to sniff out the area to prevent any sudden surprises. ]
Evil Willy Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Oo believe me I am not the one going in...Simply a british soldier I have disguised as me...We captured a few while defending belgium. We thought they would come in handy and now well...They are.We will see what happens :D
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 17, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 17, 2006 Willy, what are you going to do with your ships that were protecting against Belguim? Will you move them closer to Britain? I'll get Captain Starwars4J to help me move in New Greenland if necessary. But first New Greenland's secretary and KimT must decide whether or not they're going to go ahead with these olympic celebrations in Denmark. tophdawg Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 So you are choosing to ally with the British Tophdawg? If so I shall command the Japanse to send their ships and men to Massachusetts rather than Port Royal. The Japanese will reach you before the British do for the Japanese are closer. Unless of course the British send ships from the Caribbean, however, those ships will be needed to protect Port Royal and other British ports. This way we can take you out before you get established and have a chance to give the British anything! The Inquistion will claim the resources for itself and distribute them amongst its allies! However, should you ally with the Inquistion then you can have the Japanese to support you. Just remember British forces will be stretched thin so they won't be able to provide as many men and ships as the Japenese will... As power as Britain is it cannot possibly have the population to maintain sufficient numbers globally. i will move my a third of my new ships to help defend the carribian to help defend port royal and maybe even intercept some of your ships on their way to massachusetts leaving port royal stronger you weaker and massachusetts still well defended,
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 17, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 17, 2006 A third of your new ships? Hahahahahahaa!!! Unless you're building row boats you wouldn't have completed the first of your ships yet. Everyone know ships don't appear over night. Unless your dear friends the British have donated some ships to you, but that would stretch their forces even thinner! Since they haven't said anything then that's an indication this isn't so. But very well. As you wish. You could have had the Japanese to bolster your forces, but instead they will destroy you!
tophdawg Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 i was counting on having some of my ships completed before you finish your journey around south america, which is fairly long. by then i will have have at lest six ships and will be able to send a third of them down
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 17, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 17, 2006 I already have ships located all around the southern American continent! The Spanish have been travelling there for over 120 years you know? We have established many fine ports there. However, it is the Japanese that need to do the travelling. You could well have these ships created by the time they reach you. I do not know how many they are sending or exactly when they sent them but rest assured you will learn your lesson for not allying with the Inquisition!
tophdawg Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 as second in command of the british forces i would like to try and make alliance with the Native American tribes unless Lost Viking does not wish this or the tribes do not like that idea
hewkii9 Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Well, I've sent out my ships yesterday, so they should have reached Hawaii by now. Have you built the Panama Canal? Or will my ships have to travel along the edge of South America? By the way, is it okay for me to send some ships to conquer an yet-inhabitated island? Like Taiwan?
tophdawg Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 the panama canal was built in the early 1900's so you will be taking the long journey around south america
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 17, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 17, 2006 as second in command of the british forces i would like to try and make alliance with the Native American tribes unless Lost Viking does not wish this Chief Clenched Fist (LegoBMW) is the leader of the Native American tribes... You'll have to deal with him as well if you want an alliance! Tip: Always remember to check the first page of this thread if you want to see who the participants are and who they are allied to. If you want to make an alliance you'll have to contact LegoBMW and see what he thinks. If he's no longer interested in participating then it would be acceptable to claim leader ship of the Native American tribes so long as you can think of an interesting storyline to accompany it.
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 17, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 17, 2006 Well, I've sent out my ships yesterday, so they should have reached Hawaii by now. Have you built the Panama Canal? Or will my ships have to travel along the edge of South America? Excellent! Its pleasing to hear the ships have been dispatched! Unfortunately we do not have the technology nor the resources to build a canal through Panama at present. Maybe a couple of hundred years from now. How many ships have you dispatched? Perhaps you could send half to the Caribbean and half to keep Massachusetts in check. Of course, by the time they reach there Britain may have more ships there to reinforce them. So it will depend how many ships you're sending before this action can be determined. By the way, is it okay for me to send some ships to conquer an yet-inhabitated island? Like Taiwan? Yes, that's fine as long as you can write an interesting storyline to go with it. Give us gradual updates of how its progressing and remember you're not going to conquer this land in a couple of days so span it over multiple posts. Besides, you never know who might want to come along and challenge you for this land. ;) NEW RULE - 6. The Passage of Time A new rule has been introduced called The Passage of Time. This has been introduced because things don't just happen immediately. So if you're making a voyage across the world or building a fortress its not going to be complete in a couple of days. To make things easy one post is roughly about 2 days. Click here to view first post of this thread If you think these rule needs to be modified or removed don't hesitate to say so.
hewkii9 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 My 20 ships have just left Hawaii. Should I split them up? I have also sent envoys to the Taiwanese, expressing the greatness of the new-emerging Japanese Empire and it's ally, the Spanish Inquistion. Hopefully, they will comply with my requests, and join me!
tophdawg Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 after working hard from dawn to dusk every day my workers have produced the newest addition to the MAssachusetts navy, i am now up to three large vessels and numerous small ones
hewkii9 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 So what is this great addition? An elastic launcher? Haha! My ships are unharmed by such fools-weapons! Wait, is this hypothesis wrong? Is it....a TENNIS BALL LAUNCHER? Heehee! I'd better tell my Samurai to use rackets instead of katana! Yet, "you will rue the very day you insulted me!"? You're right, because I never put tennis in the curriculum! By the way, my ships are now nearing Panama, so it will, indeed, be a while until they come. You'll need at least six ships..... I know about who's on America, but is anyone in Califorina particularly?

hewkii9 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 So, what about those tennis rackets? And the new rule, as we talk, you work goes faster, and I am blessed with going...................REALLY FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Erm...ahem..*clears throat*..now, I have just left Panama City with fresh supplies. Also, my merchant ship [it's not even Japanese!] has been docked and my merchants are heading to Vera Cruz on foot as I speak.
tophdawg Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 my fourth ship is nearer to completion due to the fast dilligent work of my builds and where is vera cruz
hewkii9 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I would not tell mine enemy, nor where my ship is, for you may send assasins to slay my mere merchants! And I have two wonderful pieces of news, but for The Illustrious One, not you. 1. My ships have left Argentina and rounded the Cape. This means that only the northern voyage remains between us and the Carribean. 2. My envoys have returned from Taiwan, with good news. They wish to see a display for my power, so I am sending them 5 pounds of gunpowder back, along with a firearms master. They will soon join me....
Darkness Falls Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 ???: We're under attack. Talk with you soon...
tophdawg Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 my fourth ship has been completed and in expectation of my other two being completed i am send two of my ships to help the british defend port royal from the japenesse
hewkii9 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Well, my ~20~ ships are now reaching the central coast of Brazil, and they have 200 Samurai, 40 catapults, and powerful Ironwood walls. By the way, you'll regret your choice of splitting up your forces. Besides, I told my samurai to get TENNIS RACKETS on their next port-stop. MUAHAHA!!!! You'll need to to better then that! And if you're thinking of godmodding, those ships cost me a lot of pretty, pretty pennies....
Dragon King Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I dragon king declare myself Lord of New England. I am going to break up with the Inqustion due to the fact nearly every one is allied.
Evil Willy Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Well then you are but neutral to us...But attack as and you will pay dearly, With your life that is :D
