A new teaser for a new LEGO Star wars game is out. Go to the Star wars product page at LEGO.com. Direct game link

EDIT: Please note this is online only and you may (if not already installed) need to download and install a 3rd Party piece of software which you may never use again. - Thanks to DarthSion for the heads up.

Could you add that its online only, not a full game like ttgames.

Maybe tell people you will be forced to download a program to play.

(too rude the old way).

Thanks for the note DarthSion, I have added it to the first post. Now I have had a while to play this I actually found it quite good by lego's terms, especially for one of their online games.

I was a little disappointed about a couple of things: 1. I wasn't allowed to fight the AAT and 2. it's not actually the full game :hmpf_bad:

Note I wrote Teaser :sceptic: . I agree fighting the AAT would be great, perhaps when the August update is released.

Ugh, I need Windows 2000+ for that crap (whatever it is called, unity or something) to get installed..

There is a mac version of the player too, or are you running less than Win 2000?

That actually wasn't too bad.It was definitely better than the Ultimate Lightsaber duel of 05.Though I was also dissapointed by the fact that you couldn't fight the AAT(At one time a droid jumped onto the side and I thought that it was going to jump in).Luckily I already had the plugin installed for the Glatorian Arena game.

I'm running less than Win 2000, I run on Windows ME. :cry_sad:

It was actually pretty good for a teaser game. Unfortunately, the camera was quite jerky and made my eyes hurt. :sadnew: My overall score at the end was 14492. Anybody beat my score?

This game, although a teaser, was pretty fun. :classic:

I got 953 crystals and a level score of 14628.

By the way, did anyone else find the two secret spots? One of them was destroying a wall (there were crystals behind it) and another was a platform filled with crystals. Games like these are fun.

EDIT: By the way, thanks for finding the game! :classic:

I can't wait for the full version to come out.

That was quite fun! As to fighting the AAT, I thought we could be IN the AAT! Were did all those Security Battle Droids come from? You don't need that many on a ship that's almost certainly got a Sep. leader

Hehe. That's actually pretty fun. For an online game that is. I really hope they release a real Lego Clone Wars game at some point.

so, I dont get this. Is the game just a kind of demo for an upcoming clone wars game? Or is it just a small online game built for fun?

Well I downloaded it straight away hoping it would work on a mac and it did so I played. I think it was a good game but if that was too be one of the 15 levels it may be rather too easy. Anyway I got 15,000 and something anyone beat that. I lost one complete life but had two full at the end which earned me 250 points added. Anyway I will get this game when it comes.

Oh and was it just me or was the game only available on the american star wars bit as on the u.k there was nothing.

I found the game pretty fun to play, a bit simple, but good for an online game.

My end score was 14900 and a bit, don`t remember the exact number.

The only problem that I see is that an non-US keyboard layout the "X" key is inthe bottom right corner and the "Z" is next to "T" so you have to twist your fingers a bit.

Apart from the minifig and the railing alongside the 'ships, there was really nothing LEGO'esque about the game; just putting in minifigs instead of 'real' action figures does not make a LEGO game, a genuine LEGO game. A lot more effort should have been put into designing the computer terminals and light cylinders in genuine LEGO structures, I think...

Thanks for the heads up on this.

This topic belongs in the culture and multimedia section, so I'll move it there.

I was able to play it at a friend's house. He has XP. It was okay. I hated that there were no bricks in it and the AAT was not useable or destroyable.
