I'm back too, been very sick for the last four days with spread germs from babies I'm still a bit out of it, but will attempt to follow along.

Sorry I haven't been very active in the last chapter, I was at my cottage, where I had to attempt to steal my neighbours internet, which more often than not didn't work.

Sorry I've been out of it lately. I've been down with a fever and such after being worked half to death at a choir performance, and was half in/half out of the swine flu borderline

By the way, my crazy post today was a reference to an unnamed movie, so I don't ruin it if you haven't seen it...

And, The Brickster, how much longer do you think this mystery may take? Just out of curiousity.

I'm rather suprised no one suspects Constable O'Reilly of being a town council member.

After all, as the sheriff of the town, he sure doesn't arrest the town council members for having people killed just for trying to escape the ruthless hand of the devil mayor.

Pete Smith emerges from his house, planting his hard-hat firmly upon his head. He seems to have donned a new pair of pants and his red 'beat it' jacket appears to have been washed and ironed. After a good long shower and a few runs of the washing machine, Pete had been prepared to rejoin the others. Wondering how his plan to tow the Emerald Express with the Crocodile had turned out, Pete ran off in search of the group.

*tips hard-hat* I have returned! I'm only just feeling some of the others pain as I try to get through fourteen-or-so pages of insults, complete nonsense, and the occasional clue. After reading up on the situation, I'll get back to posting.

I'm going to be away for the week starting tomorrow. I haven't been contributing much anyway, but hopefully my absence will be okay.

I wouldn't want to complain again, but could we please not draw this game longer than necessary by adding artificial "nights" and "dinners" every once in a while, unless it's relevant to the plot?

I'm asking this since honestly the progress we've made seems awfully slow, and having everyone write about their character going to bed and getting a night watch turn and waking up and eating dinner etc. only makes it go even slower. It was fun in the beginning, but now it's all getting a bit too cumbersome, to my taste at least.

I'm sorry to ask this of all of us, but I believe this needed to be said. And no, I'm not targetting anyone in particular, this is a request to everyone here about the playstyle we're having.

Otherwise, I'd like to continue working together to get this mystery to a finish. I believe we can do it if we just pick up the pace a bit.
