Our thread is also renowned for its lack of passenger infighting, hissy-fits, backstabbings, frontstabbings, accusations, insider trading, outsider baiting, mud-slinging, lie-telling, public drunkenness and kettle-mania.

Damn he's good! How can Arin not like him?

Actually SEEING the map of Willoughby with my own eyes would help a great deal to figure out which switches need to be pushed. I have no idea where the switchpoints are in correlation with each other. But I guess we have to do it by trial and error, then.

Actually, not HEARING you whine so much about "this and that" would be nice too.

Seriously, I was just waiting for someone to bring up the fact that they'd like to SEE the map. My money was riding on you.

EDIT: I will point out that you have been doing pretty good over the last few days. Are the meds wearing off?

I wanted to know what there was out there about (apart from the Seinfeld reference) Johnson Rods so I just Googled the old rod and the first thing that came up was a definition....

Johnson Rod (n.) A rod used to control the timing of, and how long the valves stay open on a steam locomotive.

The setting of the Johnson rod determines how much power goes into each piston stroke, and to which direction the locomotive will move.

Strangely, I never heard this defintion, and can't believe you found a definition. I thought it would make a funny term. Train part? you don't say.

-another Murder on the Emerald Express mystery.

Hardy har har... :hmpf_bad:

Again, Eleanor's the crazy one, I'm the whiny one. Don't get us mixed up.

Oh, great, all we need is more "Shadows and Friends" entertainment. :hmpf:

Actually, color coordinating would help. Then we could just skip all the whining...

Just because you people barely have enough personality for one, doesn't mean you should be jealous of those of us who were blessed with an assortment.

On the other hand, she's just crazy.

A map has been posted if it helps.

I just want to let you all know that I will be away from this Sunday afternoon (the 7th) through till next Friday (12th), so don't be alarmed if I'm not around at all, as I won't have any computer access. I will of course be back as usual by next Friday evening/Saturday, so don't think you're rid of me yet!

That is all, return to whatever it was you were doing.

so don't think you're rid of me yet!

We'll see about that!

Hahahaha, you'll have hours of reading to catch up on.

Pete is a Town Council Member He's defenses of Killin' George are obvious, and Greaseman (long time no see buddy!) backs me up on this.

Wow, you sound like me in Mystery Castle...

I'm off now, see you all at the end of next week! :sweet:

Oh good, now that he's gone, I can safely mention that we observed the FBI outside his house, so I think he's a rat.

Or maybe even a weasel.

- oh CRAP! I don't think he left yet. He is a weasel!

Wrong game :hmpf::tongue:

So, based on people's posts, all the characters are together in one group again? Since everybody's talking about the map and the switches and all...

Correct. Everyone has arrived on main street is one way or another.

Wait, I thought he was the Witch!?:look: ....Oh that was Hinckley....

WITCH!!!

TheBrickster tells us in the opening post to Day 7 that we all end up on Main Street. So based on so much more than people's posts, we are all together and we cannot dynamically move.

Damn you people, don't you understand the concept of roleplaying?

Eleanor's like "bohohoo, my life sucks" and you're all "okay, now get a grip and look at this map".

I should probably start a forum-based RPG here, just to teach you guys how to act it out a little.

Errr... EBRP?

Errr... EBRP?

Oh yeah, forgot about that one...

But if I were to make an RPG, it would be far less expansive and more compact than EBRPG, maybe concentrating on a single group of travelers or the events of one king's court rather than all the nations of an entire world. Yeah, I like the sound of that...

MYSTERY INTERMISSION

Please note: We're going to have a little break in the mystery starting this evening (June 7 - Sunday 9:00 PM Pacific - U.S.A.) I'll be away on a trip returning late Wednesday, then tentatively gone over the weekend. I'll post Thursday after playing "catch-up", and will let you know about the weekend.

You're closer to solving the mystery than you realize, if you can just put a few of the clues together, and find a few more.

Good luck!

We're roleplaying just fine. It's just that nobody cares about Eleanor. :sceptic:

Isn't she the one that got murdered?

EDIT: Oh forget it... I'm too tired for this.
