Now that Lego has a license for Cars I suppose that this MOC of mine belongs in this theme.

It is a model of Mater from the film. I saw this http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=369693 by Vincent Cheung in a blogg and was inspired.

But I wanted to do something of my own so here is the result.

I am in love.

Cars is my favorite Disney movie (by far), so that MOC is simply incredible! Any plans for a Lightning McQueen to go with him? ;)

Sadly, I imagine the Duplo Cars coming out are going to look really sad next to that masterpiece...

They are from left to right Lightning, Sally, Mater (in the wrong color!) and Mack.

They are for my 2 year old son and is not up to standard of other Mocs on this site...

I really love it. The lime green stands out a little too much. A different hood piece would be better as well. Sand green might be a better color.

Nice MOC! It really looks like Mater.

However, I bet that the Cars theme cars will just be a one piece mold.
