As the passengers and crew aboard the Emerald continue to bicker over the mysterious knife found in Passenger Car #2, and whisper between small groups blindly making a variety of false accusations, the rain outside slowly fades and a bit of sunshine shines through the dripping windows.

Just when a beautiful rainbow begins to illuminate the sky with vivid color, the train comes to a screeching halt! People are flung through the train like rag dolls as the sounds of thumps, thuds, and crashes fill the halls. All becomes quiet for just a brief moment, before Steve Thomas comes running into the Dining Car.
