So you claim the knife? May I ask why you brought it along?

Yes, my invitation hinted at an adventure and danger. I was very excited as I love to read adventure books! :sweet: But then real life adventure scared me a bit so I took the knife with for protection, but I had no intention whatsoever of using it, unless I was cornered.

While I agree that Max is suspicious, you seem eager to point fingers.

Oh do I? That's funny. I thought I was the one defending the people who you accused yesterday? You remember: saying it was probably Mark or Arin who had brought the knife. You actually seemed quick to point the finger, while I was actually quick to defend.

Besides, Max went after the knife and then lied about it. He deserves the finger.

Oh, Greaseman... You better wish I'm not the raving, murderous lunatic this train is bound to have.

Now, Arin, where were we? Did you perchance know this Elizabeth Thornton that invited us here?

You are all damn lunatics! :hmpf: Well, except for Schmelt.

He's referring to the fate of my poor fiancé that I just "privately" revealed to Arin.

Anyhow, I'm not done talking with Arin, so I'm dynamically moving wherever she goes.

You talk loud! Everyone heard you. You can follow me if you want. At least then we will know where you are.

So yeah, Eleanor flashes her fancy ring and then tells me that someone ran over her fiance in a carriage. This seems scandalous to me. Also, Herman plants a knife to get Eleanor's attention because of the mysterious aspect of things and thats scandalous too. Everything wacky seems to revolve around Eleanor. Max... well... yeah I agree that he's suspicious too. Schmelt, I need some chocolate.

 That's silly. I didn't plant it for attention. I have more respect for people's safety than that.

Has anyone ever told you you are both wise and beautiful, madame?

Chocolate coming up. Gallons of it!

For someone who bought a concealed weapon on board, you do bang on about it a lot, don't you? If you are trying to distract everyone from the fact that you are the only one who has so far admitted that they have a penchant for carelessly packing their luggage with vicious, murderous tools, you are doing a good job. It is, how you say, thumbs-up!

I find it dubious that someone who acts so much the scaredy-puss would have the courage to obtain a knife to bring on this voyage without much wee-wee in the pants-making.

You are very eager to talk and talk and talk, Mr Richwell, but you say almost nothing :hmpf:

That's weird. I thought I had only said one or two things about it.

 That's silly. I didn't plant it for attention. I have more respect for people's safety than that.

I don't believe it is yours at all. AT ALL!!

I'd like to see the lockers. Max, will you dynamically move with me to the lockers to show me the knife. Eleanor, follow me so that if I'm murdered, you'll know what happened. *mumbles* crazy *mumbles*

Culprit of what? Nothing has happened. Unless I'm being accused of being a nerd, and I'm really more of a dork. Nerds don't have friends. I have friends. :sweet:

Nothing has happened huh? Well that throws off my genius trail, carry one then.

You people are nuts... I'm going to dynamically move back to the card game and see if we can get that going again.

Who's joining me?

Caribou... another song stuck in my head. You kill me Schmelt.

Don't get literal about that, please. :look:

I don't believe it is yours at all. AT ALL!!

Doesn't matter to me if you believe it or not. I think we should just throw the knife off of the train if it's so much trouble.

By the way, what is the big deal? I would imagine Schmelt has dozens of knives not locked up. *huh*

Yes, I was wondering if anyone would notice that. I was more concerned about the AK-47 that's been sitting in the middle of the dinner table since lunch, which noone seems to have noticed yet.

Hah-hah! Kidding!

As the passengers and crew aboard the Emerald continue to bicker over the mysterious knife found in Passenger Car #2, and whisper between small groups blindly making a variety of false accusations, the rain outside slowly fades and a bit of sunshine shines through the dripping windows.

Just when a beautiful rainbow begins to illuminate the sky with vivid color, the train comes to a screeching halt! :oh3: People are flung through the train like rag dolls as the sounds of thumps, thuds, and crashes fill the halls. All becomes quiet for just a brief moment, before Steve Thomas comes running into the Dining Car. :sing:

"There's been a mechanical failure with the locomotive! :oh: " he yells loudly, "we've got problems".
