COMMENT : it looks like a castle I have more cannons for it, they are at home. It was suppose to look like a castle, and here is the original fort that started/inspired it for me. I was originally going to make a recreation of this fort, but as I started I went more with the multi-teered look. Quote
Admiral Woodhouse Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I see! So how many cannons do you think you have? Quote
Ratshot Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 So how many cannons do you think you have? I counted 12 in the fort Mike. Quote
martinsuper Posted May 27, 2009 Author Posted May 27, 2009 So how many cannons do you think you have? I probably have about 50 cannon total. It just hard to get a large amount that all look exactly the same. Between, old shooting, new shooting, non-shooting, cross-cannon, red base, brown base, blue base, and green base, there are a lot of different possible cannon combinations. Though I think I would like to see a black base for the cannons next. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Are you going to paint them into black? I'm not sure if that is a good idea since you need the right kind of dye and in the colour which matches LEGO black. But you can try of course. I think brown bases with the new gunmetal cannons are the best combination. Quote

martinsuper Posted June 10, 2009 Author Posted June 10, 2009 I was taking the fort apart to make a new version, and I stopped to take a picture of the interior structure. A lot of time you don't see this, so I though, why not? Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 gheghe I think if anyone would have taken this fort, he would be very surprised to find this inside the building Always nice to have a look behind the scenes. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I agree! I'd never expected such a heap of colours in there. Are you planning to give the next fort an interior? Barracks, ammo magazines etc... That would be even better! Quote

Im building this next fort for function and "playability" rather than form. I'm about 95% done right now and am just waiting for a bricklink order. -Super Quote
