REVIEW Castle 7097 - Trolls' Mountain Fortress

A bit late to the party on this one (I just built my copy last week) - but I have to say I really like this set. Yes it's short on play features but the minis are great (I always like getting more crownies as it enables you to create bigger melees) and with the addition of a few orcs from other sets and the modularity of the set you can create a great LOTR or fantasy MOC.

This set is well done with goo minifigures and reasonable design but it looks like lego tried to pack too many figures into it

Since this was bumped earlier this month, I wanted to add this EB forum thread here for reference, regarding Hiffie's MOC using only the pieces of two 7097 and probably a much better representation of a Trolls Mountain Fortress.
