Front Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Yes KimT, he actually paid for everything except for the petrol, boat tickets, food, some spending money, extra expences, spareparts (for the real car), souvenirs... Now it's my time to laugh I hope you had a great trip to southern Germany. I really would have liked to join the event myself, but I guess that would have overloaded me. I got lots of bricks to engineer, and a vacation to enjoy in a weeks time. Front Quote
Dennimator Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) Wow, this is really impressing. I am glad so many of you guys/gals took time to reply. I really feel warmly welcomed. Thanks a lot! Thanks Dennimator for blowing my cover But please do not mention my age... I am not so glad for it, and some young people close to me think "ancient fossiles" do not have so much to contribute with when it comes to lego-building. Except when it comes to ask for opinions for improvments and design. Yes KimT, he actually paid for everything except for the petrol, boat tickets, food, some spending money, extra expences, spareparts (for the real car), souvenirs... Ok, I wont do that, (my 44 years old) mom. Details... The hotel was still half of the cost! Ancient fossile? Ancient yes, but fossiles are dead... Here are a pic of mom in lego (brown one, bottom lef). Shes 45 .....I'm a brat It doesn't matter how old you are, you can always contribute to Lego building. Welcome to Eurobricks.By the way....Happy 45th birthday. She´s actually 44. Edited May 27, 2009 by Dennimator Quote
Ratshot Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) She´s actually 44. I realized that before you were done typing so I came back and edited my post. Edited May 27, 2009 by Broadside Quote

Johnny 5 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 This is a great thread. It exemplifies what Eurobricks is all about, that sense of community between members. I also think it is great that we have practically a whole family on here. Yes KimT, he actually paid for everything except for the petrol, boat tickets, food, some spending money, extra expences, spareparts (for the real car), souvenirs... Awesome, its funny how easily kids forget all that other stuff. I had that sort of thinking just a few years ago, I thought I was just going way above and beyond when a few dollars came out of my pocket. Then you get a little older and realize how much things really cost... Quote
Jipay Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Welcome roadwalker ! It is nice to see you here as it was great to meet you at the event. There have been a lost of worse members posting, but you're definitly not one of them Quote

Anyway, after this year´s event in Günzburg, I can only say: Lego connects, it builds bridges over language barriers and connects over age differences. --> It was nice to meet you in Günzburg and welcome aboard... --> By the way,... did you find your 3D programma yet ??? Roadwalker Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 --> By the way,... did you find your 3D programma yet ??? No, honestly my last time I has spent on using my lasermachine as a building project, picking it apart and putting it together again, since the system crashed. But as soon as I am on track again, I will keep on searching. By the way, there is a way of using Lego, that I think nobody here ever thought it could be used. I´ll post a pic and link soon in the News and General Forum. Quote
