martinsuper Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Holy cow! I loved Black Falcons, Blue Coats, and the Calvary guys, so this whole thing is a total package for me! Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 And it has an erdbeereis in there as well. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Hehe, Erdy indeed. I like that Bluecoat in there! Thanks for pointing this out! Quote
Captain Roger Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 is cool...but to be sincere...i would prefer new blue coats of the new pirate theme Quote
Rijkvv Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 But then it wouldn't be a "Vintage" collection. For me this is the most interesting collection until now. The Classic Space fig still has a modern helmet, and the bluecoat needs a backpack, but at least you won't get new gray with this one. Quote
martinsuper Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 And it has an erdbeereis in there as well. I guess now he can be in more MOCs! Like, getting blown up, or drowning in a giant vat of melting Ice Cream.... Muhahahahaa! Naw... hes always been nice, so many he gets to live once I have my hands on him. Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I wouldn't get to excieted we had a Ninja in the last pack and Ninja hasn't returned as a theme nor does it look like any Black Falcons are turning up in the Castle range. Just shows Lego knows that the blue coat was an icon like Captain Roger. Quote
the enigma that is badger Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I've never picked up a classic fig set yet given I was only interested in one or maybe two of the figs, but with three figs I'd love to have more of in my collection (Blue Falcon, Blue Coat, and Cavalry), this might be a must-buy for me! Ratshot Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) I hope its not some cruel joke It don't think its a joke, unless General Armendariz tampered with the photo I might buy this during the summer if I have some left over money. I have over $1000 dollars of Lego that I have to buy, so wish me luck Edited May 27, 2009 by Broadside Quote

matt w Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Hmm - this would be a nice set to pick up for the flacon and the bluecoat No backpack for the bluecoat though :( Anyone have arough idea of rrp?? Quote
Legoking Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Yes, yes and yes! I am so happy that TLC make a vintage minifig pack with an Imperial Guard! This is so much better than the one with the pirate. I would think TLC would continue making the minifig packs. There are pretty cool. LegoKing Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 The best vintage minifigure collection so far IMO. Vol 1. Vol 2. Quote
General Armendariz Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 its also being talked about in another forum but cant find it right now, Im so getting this! Quote
Tom Bricks Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Loving the bluecoat. Maybe the next one will have the Armada Captain in it. It fits the time period of the others. Quote

Paradosis Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Seeing this picture in Nannan Z.'s fotostream on Flickr I'm expecting they will be available on S@H soon Yay! Quote
Ratshot Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) Does anyone know how they got those old blue coat figures, I know it's kind of a dumb question Did they make a new batch of them or did they use a big pile of ones that were left over? Edited June 19, 2009 by Broadside Quote
Rick Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 I highly doubt they had some blue coats in inventory somewhere for 20 years. Like most of the other figs in the collections they just make a new batch of them. I bet they save most of the printing designs made though (but that's a lot easier than the physical products). Quote
Teddy Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Yay!, thanks for that photo Bonaparte. I just love those bluecoates. I'm crossing my fingers they will put them somewhere else as well. As a Lego classic re-release or something.. A battle pack.. Well I know I'm asking for a bit too much now. Quote
