Shadows Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 These haven't been widely available for a while? I've had mine for weeks now but never thought to take a pic. Here's a really crappy quick one showing the bluecoat being interviewed by that dorky EB News guy and his new Brick Forge microphone. You'll notice that he's absolutely identical to the originals, unlike the poor Classic Space men who seem to change a little each time and have the wrong helmets. His hat is crooked, too. Not the bluecoat's... mine. Quote

Ratshot Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 I really hope that they release some more legends sets, but this time containing some Bluecoats. It would be nice to be able to get our hands on them with out using Ebay or Bricklink. Quote

It would be nice to be able to get our hands on them with out using Ebay or Bricklink. Yes the prices have really gone up the last few years for blue coats. A few years back I could get a couple of them for only a few Euros on ebay. Guess, most have been bought by collecters by now. And the few which are on offer have a lot of interested buyers. Quote
Lego_Warlord_8 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 YAY! a bluecoat! i hope they come back! Quote

Destroydacre Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Oh, sorry Don't worry about it. This thread will likely be locked soon just to cut down on duplicates. You have to realize that Lego news travels very fast around here, so leaked pictures and set names are usually on here months before the actual sets are released. Just an FYI. Quote

New users with under 100 posts can't (inconveniently!) use the search function. So naturally a lot of thread-duplicates will occur Quote
andy0002 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 17$ for 4 crap-quality minifigures is not worth it. their color is awful, and they are see-through almost. Quote
curtisrlee Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I happen to own this, good collection! Quote
domboy Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I happen to own this, good collection! Does it suffer from the quality issues some of the other recent specialty sets have had (battle packs, tic-tac-toe, etc.)?? Quote
Zorro Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Does it suffer from the quality issues some of the other recent specialty sets have had (battle packs, tic-tac-toe, etc.)?? According to some of the testimonies around here it does, if so, its too bad because the set's minifigs aren't as cheap as the tic-tac-toe minifigs. Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 I've got one of these. I didn't see much of a quality difference if any with mine. The tic-tac-toe there is a more noticable color and texture difference in some of the minifigure parts. Quote
BrickPerfection Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 17$ for 4 crap-quality minifigures is not worth it. their color is awful, and they are see-through almost. My thoughts exactly. The white seems to be milky-transparent in a way, at least different from the regular one. But since my bluecoats are almost 20 years ols, white colour in general might look too much different when aged to compare. I have to say that i was quite shocked by the price as well. Given the poor quality, it's just not justified. Quote
zouave Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 A bluecoat and a colonel. I almost crapped my pants when I saw it. Quote
