You're great at making decals, Capt Kirk! They look like they could be actual lego versions, unlike some that are too detailed and with noses. I can't wait to see what you do for the Fotiallians! Keep up the good work.

Orion out. :skull:

That is awesome Capt Kirk.

--> THX !!!

The Cherons will be easy. Hehe!

--snip--

--> Yes they would... so I don't gone make them... :classic:

--> I do my best...

--> That's always my aim.

I can't wait to see what you do for the Fotiallians! Keep up the good work.

--> Aha, the Sand Vampire or M113... I have the pencil version already, just have to work it out to clean lines and add colour.

Orion out. :skull:

--> Marta and Vina will also be present... :sweet:

Cant wait to see how you pull off a Klingon.

--> That's a easy one because in classic star trek they only have a moustache and a small beard.

Kor2266.jpg

Those decals are creepy Captain Kirk, and very well done!

--> Thx Cap'n Blackmoor.

Fantastic work, Kurt! LEGO could learn a lesson from taking a peek at your decals.

I wouldn't be so sure - have a look at the Next Generation Worf:

Yes, well remember these are Classic Star Trek decals. Still, though, you are right. I' d love to see a version of Worf!

Anyways, great decals, Captain Kirk! I can't wait to see what you do next.

Yes - but even other classic Klingons had the head pattern!

I just searched via google and didn't find one,... but I don't say a Klingon with a head pattern doesn't exist.

By the way I just added The Mugato and made a new head decal for The Gorn (difference is in the eyes).

Now I gone do M-113 and thank all the members for the nice comments... THX !!!

This head looks pretty similar in my opinion to the classic Klingon picture you used earlier

I'm currently working on the Salt Vampire (M-113) and The Andorians but I'm not really satisfied with the result so the decals are in WIP fase. But you can have a look... :classic:

Salt Vampire:

I don't like the face... it's too broad IMO. The hair I'm satisfied with but still gone work on it.

The torso is ok and not ok,... so here some work has to be done.

Minifig-layoutSalt-Vampire.jpg

The Andorians:

Just like the Salt Vampire I'm not really satisfied. The hair is not what it must be and the head looks like a balloon. But the main problem are the antennae of the Andorians because I can't add them on the face. The reason is that in TOS they are on the top of the head. The torso is really WIP.

The diamonds on the torso aren't really fitting in. But otherwise Great work! They could pass for official. You are one of THE best decal makers ever! Up with LuxorV and othors.

EDIT: I think the third face is the best.

The version you can see in the first post is the one that I prefer.

Why... because it looks for me the most Lego-ish and that's one of my goals.

Also because it's more in the design-line of The Gorn and The Mugato.

The other versions I made.

Version 2

Minifig-layoutSaltVampire.jpg

Version 3

And up to The Andorians... :classic:

The diamonds on the torso aren't really fitting in.

--> It's just a WIP (work in progress)... but the "diamonds" are part of the costume in the TOS (The Original Serie).

But otherwise Great work! They could pass for official. You are one of THE best decal makers ever! Up with LuxorV and othors.

--> Thanks for the kind words Orion123.

EDIT: I think the third face is the best.

--> I not happy with the result... must work on it...

These are brilliant! I'm thinking about doing a 'Shore Leave' vignette, so that Gorn would be brilliant!

And the angry face on that Andoran! That's spot on.

Please keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what else you'll come up with.

--> No problem... just give credit and I like to see it.

--> I just added the final version, so maybe the face you liked isn't around any more... at least not in the final version of the face... but if you let me know what your fav. face was I will upload it in the finale version of the head. The chainmail isn't my design it from Roaglaan.

--> I have adapted The Andorian design again, because I wasn't yet satisfied… hopefully the last time...

--> A problem what was not graphic possible to been solved was the antennae… I have tried to draw them on the side but that didn't look good (because they stand at the top of the Andorians head it wasn't really an option).

Yes - but even other classic Klingons had the head pattern!

--> Because I'm currently working on the TOS Klingon uniform I did a lot of research but didn't find an image about the excistance of a TOS ridged Klingon forehead. Although this site explaines a lot about the ridged Klingon forehead and if we may believe this site... TOS Klingons are often said to look just like humans, only with beards and thick brown make-up.

Klingon Torso added in the first post.

It are 5 versions and they are based on pictures and information about the Klingon Insignia (TOS)... so they are correct (unless the sites and orginal pictures lie). I spend a lot of time on this races... #?@&ç°£ !!!

@ Sandy... don't worry I will make a female Klingon...

I added The Tellarites (the one with the pig face)... although I must say that I'm not sure about the belt because it was hard to find some good images. Hope you like it... :classic:

But now I do not know what race I would take... any suggestions ???

These are lovely and accurate decals. I love Star Trek. I love all of the series, but TOS is my favorite (The Trouble with Tribbles is my favorite episode). Adam, you should watch TOS. None of the Klingons looked like the one's in TNG. It's a little bit of an absurd series but it's hard to beat for some good TV. :sweet:
