HumanPackMule Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) After looking through the forums, I noticed there isn't a discussion for WoW yet. Anyone else here play it? If so, what are the race, class, level, and server of your main character that you play. I've got a lvl 80 blood elf rogue on the Blackwater Raiders server, along with a 70 DK, a 52 Warrior, a 58 hunter, and a few more alts on the same server. Edited July 10, 2009 by Arthas Quote
Scyzoryk Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Welcome to Eurobricks, Arthas! Even though your not the real Prince of Darkness. I play WoW, some people on this forum play, too. I'm a 48 Blood Elf Mage on Hakkar. I also have a 80 Blood Elf DK. Quote
brickfreak99 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I play, I have a 72 Gnome Mage, A 62 Gnome DK, and a 34 Night Elf Druid. I haven't played it in a while though since I need to buy another pre-paid card. Quote
Freddie Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I play too, altough only occasionally. A recent lightning strike has reduced it to practically "not at all", but that'll get fixed in due time. When I do play, though, you can find me on Bronzebeard-EU (yeah, I'm not a PVP'er). I favour alliance characters, and as such all of my characters are alliance-aligned: A level 75 Night Elf Hunter (Terranaut; Beast Master), a level 65 Human Death Knight (Mortiferus; Unholy), a level 20 Gnome Warrior (Twistgear; Fury), a level 20 Night-Elf Druid (Faline; Balance), a 15 Draenei Shaman (Thalinn; Elemental) and a level 10 Dwarf Paladin (Aequus; Retribution). The plan forward is to level the draenei to 16, so she'll get her ghost wolf when the patch hits, then use my hunter and gun it for heirloom-armor for my plate-wearing characters. But as said above, it'll be in due time, and other things will have to come first. Quote
HumanPackMule Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 Glad to see this topic restarted. I too can't wait for the next patch. The Argent Tournament raid is gonna be a nice deviation from the current line-up of Naxxramas and Ulduar. Another improvement I read about is the fact that rogues can finally use axes Quote
Freddie Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 (edited) Now, I'm a careful optimist, and especially so regarding rumours of Blizzard's games - but in the wake of Blizzard registering a few new trademarks, which on their own are not feasible enough for speculation about an expansion or new game, IMO; two pairs of new halloween masks have been uncovered. What makes them special is that masks of this type up until now have been exclusevily depicted the faces of playable races; these are goblin and worgen. Furthermore, there's both male and female version. But, there are no female worgens in-game... Speculation also points out that Worgen would be alliance-aligned and Goblins horde-aligned. Like I said, I'm a careful optimist, but I can't help getting all giddy because of this: I really, really, really want to play as Worgen. Edited July 18, 2009 by Freddie Quote

If you wanna play as a Worgen, just lvl a hunter high enough to tame one, then use eyes of the beast ability Quote
Freddie Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 If you're referring to the glitch that allowed hunters to tame a specific worgen, that was hotfixed long ago. Worgen are otherwise humanoids and therefore untamable. If you're refering to the beasts (wolves?), yeah, well, they're not really a unique species to play as. Guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. But I'm still crossing my fingers for Worgen and Gilneas as their starting zone! Quote
HumanPackMule Posted July 19, 2009 Author Posted July 19, 2009 You sure? Just last tuesday I did an instance with a hunter that was using a worgen as a pet. Quote
Freddie Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 I am. What they didn't do was taking them away from those hunters who already had tamed one, but they did take away all the abilites and reduced the worgen down to nothing more than a trophy pet. Quote
HumanPackMule Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 Well I've finally figured out how to pvp effectively on my rogue(thanks to dual-spec which I bought recently). Quote
HumanPackMule Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 Well the next expansion pack has been announced. Two new playable races-Goblins for the Horde and Worgen for the Alliance. They're also remaking many of the classic regions such as Orgrimmar and the Barrens. On top of that, there will be new race-class combinations. Can you say Tauren paladin? Quote
Freddie Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I'm definately looking forward to it. While I admit I was optimistic about the new races (cue a heavy sigh and a big yay!), the leaked news were so out of touch with how I reconned was possible, I simply didn't expect Cataclysm to be this... groundbreaking (and how!). I mean, just about every zone in Azeroth (apparently with the single exception being Westfall) redone, complete with a full revamp of quests to match the new and changed enviroments (for instance, Azshara replaces the Barrens as a 10-20 zone). It hasn't been confirmed, but I reckon the reputation-grind zones, such as the Plaguelands and Silithius will be re-done now. The way I see it, there's only really one big downer with the expansion pack, and that's the first expansion pack: Burning Crusade. Oh man, Outlands (and other BC-zones) is going to be a time-travel experience after this, and a nostaligic one at its best. I'm hoping it will at least gain some of the technical advancements, such as the new water effects (see the trailer for those). Quote
