Arg! I didn't see the some button. |-/

Anyways, Episode 1 and 3 are the best in my opinion. They both really gave Star Wars a breath of fresh air. I like episode I in particular because it was brighter and a happy environment. Episode III was just plain awesome. It really made the prequel saga go out in a bang! :)

Hey, I like it too, can ya tell? ;)

Anyway, I absolutely abbhor the new trilogy. It's sad when the best actor in a film is CGI...>-|

For me, Episode 6 was the best

6>5>4>3>2>1 (weird how that works out...)

none of these would ever be in my all time top 10. they're all classic because of the story, the mix of knights fighting in space, the characters,... but i wouldn't say one of these left a mark... it's great entertainment, but in my opinion, they're not really great films...

i'd go for ep4 or ep5

I like all of them although If I had to choose a least favourite it would be episode 4...

I think the problem with the acting for the most part could be George Lucas' being the director. I laughed when Anakin did his little "I slaughtered them... like ANIMALS" thing in episode II

Not because I think he is a bad actor... but I think there wasnt enough inspiration.

We know Mark Hammil is definately not a good actor... but he did fine in the original trilogy... it worked.

I think Ewan MacGregor was good as Obi Wan...

The reason I HATED Return of the Jedi even though I LOVED the one before... all the actors went super-cocky.

The main guys had become such celebrities that it was affecting their acting.

They all had smug grimaces, extensive makeup... bleh. They seemed as familiar with their lines as temporary extras brought on would.

And then the overflowing gush of freaking MUPPETS. UGH.

Like, they got LUCKY on Yoda in Empire. He was clearly a Muppet, and even had the voice of Grover from Sesame Street.

X D

But somehow, despite his muppety walking scenes, they pulled it off.

Return of the Jedi just went insane with everything. I mean, the movie had alot going for it that you can't get in other movies, but it was just annoying to me for some reason. They took the cheap route and made a whole freaking moon of midgets in fur costumes. Sure, there were midgets in A New Hope and Empire, but these ones were BLATANTLY added to be sell-outs... to attract chicks and children.

And not too credibly, they had the SAME EXACT screams as the Jawas did from ANH. I was young as hell, but I heard an Ewok scream and was like "There's Jawas from the desert on the jungle planet of teddybears?"

Ick. *wacko*

Ep V for me, for me what made the film one of the greatest was the fact that the good guys didnt win for a change. I never dreamed that come the end of the film we would see han captured luke seriously injured and vader winning.

As for the rest of the films i would choose ep 3 next as i loved seeing the jedi fall, ep 6 to me was just a re telling of ep 4 and dont get me started on those bloody bears *sick*

i voted for "some" because I cannot really specify my favorite Star Wars movie.

I think the original trilogy was the best. When I think about the new movies, Ep3 ist my favorite! *gg*

Episode V with III coming in close second.

Episode V was amazing. We got to see the first black guy in the SW universe, Awesome Bounty Hunters, almost all the scenes were good, and the most emotional Line of all time, "No, Luke... I am your Father."

You just can't beat it!

Of course, Episode IV was amazing, too. The suttle references to parts of history and parts of the galaxy are great. But Episode III really did it for me. Lucas ended the trilogy with a bang, making the emotional conflict go to its highest. With such lines as, "You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!" and of course the Yoda vs. Sidious was great as well. Although you might not realize it, they were two of the most powrful beings in the galaxy duking it out, and Yoda lost in the end because he realized that the Jedi had been training for another Sith War, when the Sith had been preparing for a totally new war. Palpatine was definately the best part of the movie, too.

Really, in retrospect, the two triolgies are the story of Anakin Skywalker, not Luke. All of them have him in them, and in the end, Vader completes the prophecy by balancing Light and Dark.

Anyways, enough of that. Two good movies. The end.
